I'm sure there will be a few suitors if he's made available... namely Boston. But in terms of salary filler, they don't have much to offer outside of an expiring Hayward who makes much more than Turner does. A deal around these two guys would be very complicated and almost certainly require a third team.

Zilby suggested a Turner trade where he goes to San Antonio. I think we could get him but it would likely involve a three team trade. I pitched a deal where they get Rozier.

Raptors: Myles Turner

Pacers: Rozier

Hornets: Powell, McDermott

All teams get better imo. I am not a Rozier fan but his scoring stats aren't bad. He shot really well from three, adds athleticism to their back court and is a good rebounder for a guard

Why are the Pacers interested in Rozier? They have Malcolm Brogdon and Victor Oladipo in their back court.

They aren't trading Rozier.

This trade makes zero sense.

The Kings might want to clear the way for Bagley and Giles so Richaun Holmes or Nemanja Bjelica could be available.
Also, if the Kings are picking between Bogdan and Hield to move forward with they could use Norm Powell who could play with either.
Norm for Holmes works in the trade checker and would help both teams.
Holmes would work well in our system and would replace some of what Ibaka provides and could still improve.

Giles got his option declined and will be available in the offseason as an UFA.

Bagley is an RFA so it would require capspace to sign him... which we will not have after retaining FVV or Ibaka unless Kings won't match the MLE.

And even if they don't, I think we can pick up more pieces in the FA by breaking up the MLE

I believe a Norman Powell for Myles Turner one-for-one swap makes a ton sense for both sides.

I was advocating for trading Norm for Holmes because the Kings might want to roll with Bagley and Giles so one of Holmes or Nemanja is likely available.
I forgot Giles was UFA, If anyone should be working with Mckechnie it’s him.

I know you guys don't want to trade OG. But in theory... would Murray/OG/MPJ/Grant/Jokic work?

OG fits with any team being an elite 3nd player. He can guard 1-5 with ease. His weakness is on offensive repertoire. He can hit the 3 and finish well. Little bit of post up and he does the odd drive. Needs to work on his handle and shot release.

OG is a big boy at 6' 8" 230lbs and pure muscle. I wouldn't want to waste him chasing around smaller 2 guards all game, every game. He also doesn't have the handles and quick shot release youd want from your 2 guard. Theoretically it could work being that basketball positionless now and you guys clearly need a LeBron stopper.

Thst being said I dont see anything that Denver could offer that would entice the Raptors. Aside from Murray and Jokic there isnt a player worth trading OG for and Denver doesn't have a lottery pick that im aware of.

So are the Rockets doing a fire sale? Covington and PJ Tucker would be good targets.

Not if you have any expectations of shot creation from your shooting guard. OG is still very raw in that respect, albeit he is improving.

Covington is obviously better than Stanley and McCaw, but not enough that I'm adding picks to get him.

Even if offered MPJ, that might need some persuading as him and Siakam play similar positions. Murray/Harris/OG/Grant/Jokic. Not trading OG (rookie contract) for 2 years of Harris.

What about Covington and Tucker for Sign & Traded Ibaka!!! Ibaka reunites with Westbrook and Harden. Houston Rocket's Thunder!!!

PG Westbrook - Clemons
SG Harden - Gordon
SF House - Harden
PF Clark? - FA - FA
C Ibaka - FA

Would Norm want to play in home state and with buddy Kawhi? Powell for S&T Harrell. Harrell deserves more than the MLE but not over $20 million. $15 million with the cap going down? $16-14.5-16-17.5 million. Just making use of the Harrell rumour.

PG Lowry - TD
SG FVV - OG - Thomas
SF OG - RoCo
PF Siakam - OG - Tucker
C Harrell - Tucker/Dewan

Draft the best big available at #29.

Bam is an RFA this year. Would we be open to giving him a huge deal in replacing Ibaka and Gasol. It would force Miami to match and potentially take away some of their cap space for 2021.

Can't stop thinking about that rumored 3 way trade involving Lowry going to Philly, Simmons to GS and the Raps getting the Warriors first round pick(LaMelo). Makes sense for all teams involved and would allow the Raps to retool sign Fred, extend OG and still have a ton of cap space to make a run at Giannis + another free agent.

I want no parts of that Lamelo sideshow.

He's been shown in a handful of games, and struggled mightily in Europe. Nooooo parts.

James Wiseman either.

It's Anthony Edwards or nothing for me. Which means I'd give Minesota Lowry + OG for their pick.
