I have a love/hate relationship with F5 season

Remember last year...Norm and Lowry on the block. Posters spazzing for picks. We get Trent for Norm. No picks. Lowry doesn't get traded at all and Matt Thomas and Terrence Davis get send out for 2nds. Most likely whatever the front office does will disappoint people and turn out to be the right decision.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

The initial reactions on the Norm/Gary trade were insane. So many posters were pissed and felt we were getting robbed. I’m glad I was one of the few who was actually happy with the trade the moment it happened lol

Dragic for Dinwiddie straight up. Wizards commit to tank and buyout Dragic

Boucher and a second rounder for Dante Divincenzo. Promising young guy and we can resign for team friendly deal.

Lotto protected future first for Jalen Smith

Three small trades adds huge amount of real depth without losing any of the core. Jalen was literally a lottery pick like 2 years ago and played well. That first also impowers the Suns to make a bigger trade

We keep our 22 first to add depth through the draft this year.

Edit: actually Jalen is an UFA this year right? Idk about the FRP now…
You would trade Boucher and a 2nd for Divincenzo? Boucher is a good player and Divincenzo is shooting 32% this year and is not even a great defender.

My list would be either Eric Gordon, Gary Harris, Josh Hart, or Dinwiddie (kind of having an off year and a bit too expensive). Package Dragic and Flynn and at most a 2nd round pick and try to get anyone of them.
If Hart is available, it's a no-brainer for me. He plays staunch defense, can hit shots, is an aggressive rebounder and can handle/ pass the rock too. He strikes me as a team guy, always competitive. He could come off of the bench or fill in as a starter for us. His rebounding would help us stay smallish.

Hart is a great target but only provlem is New Orleans isn't trading him for lesser players or picks. Ther're in a win-now mode and currently in a Play-in.

Hart only gets moved in a deal for a better player. Which means, only we get him is maybe in a 3-way

If we somehow land Dinwiddie and Poetl I'd be stoked.

He is a good defender and the Bucks were better with him playing before his injury last year. He was a 38% 3PT (on 5 attempts a game) shooting guard that showed some tenacity on defense and is only 25. This is a Gary Trent scenario again imo. I think with us we can develop him into being a great 3D guy at the guard position.

He’s just coming off his injury and I’d like to buy low on him because if he gets back on track he’s a great 6th man

I presume that you're right. A number of big name players are in rumours, if we can swap an expiring to a team that's looking to shed salary and to receive a pick, Hart would be a wonderful three-team target. Maybe someone likes Flynn or Svi or Birch to go along with Dragic and a pick?

Gonna be under the radar trade like last year

The death lineup of Siakam, Barnes, OG, Banton, Boucher has crazy analytics. This is what we usually use to start the 2nd. I would just like to see a scoring guard added to this. Cant rely on Banton just yet. I think thats the play iver getting a big man

I remember you liked the trade, so did I. I remember watching Gary Trent in the bubble and he had a fiestiness about him and played with supreme confidence. That move has paid dividends both financially and winning basketball games.

I don't want Spender Dinwiddie. There is something weird about him. It isn't just bitcoin obsession. It sounds like he is being run out of DC after just 4 months after all the big talk that he and Beal would make such a great pairing.

Stay away from Spencer.
