you do know between SG and SF theres 96 minutes to go around, right? Man i swear some people on this board are CLUELESS.

Why can't he get enough pt in portland? Good players always get minutes. He could've played at the 1 or even spot minutes at the 3. Do you think you know better than the Blazers coaching staff?
Didn't we say the same thing about Belinelli last year; that Nellie was misusing him? Nellie turned out to be right about him, didn't he?
And let's not forget about Rudy's irritating habit of bitching to the media constantly. We don't like it when Wright does it, or even when Turk does it halfway around the world. This board would rip him apart. And let's not forget, if he's not happy,he bolts to Europe and we lose an asset.
If we want him this bad, trade Marco for him. If not, screw him and screw Pritchard.

except before this year where he complained he was a solid player. Also hes been fighting with Webster, Batum, Bayless, Miller, Roy and Outlaw at a point in time for PT. Belinelli wasnt proven like Rudy, he showed flashes of potential

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

No, sir, I don't like it. Resist the temptation, BC!

Give me Bayless and then we're talking. Bayless could find a nice role on this team and he's just about ready to make an impact. Bayless makes me consider this and probably pull the trigger. Rudy doesn't.

Make it Bayless BC!

This is a move that depends on how the draft plays out - so if this deal is to be done, it won't transpire until both teams are satisfied with what's available at the respective picks.

As long as it isn't Devin Ebanks at 22, I'm cool with this deal. It all depends on who we pick. I'm guessing Bradley/Bledsoe or Alabi.

Exactly. Bayless I like.

I just knew in the back of my mind something like this would happen. Giving up a lotto pick for a soft jumpshooter is classic BC.

You actually think Aldrich is going to be a better player than Rudy Fernandez?

I like Aldrich, and I have said that he will be in the league for a long time as a backup center, but Fernandez can be a starter on the right team.

I don't think anyone with a straight face thinks Marco Bellinelli is anywhere near the player Rudy Fernandez is. Marco sucks and is only trade fodder at this point. Rudy is a bigger, quicker, starting caliber guard.

The only problem I see with the move is that he will have high demand in Europe and may not stay in the NBA long-term. Spanish teams do have the money to go after Rudy, and he was a huge star there prior to his NBA draft. For the lack of security, I might stay away from the move. Remember, he is on a rookie scale salary and may force a team to buy him out if he wants to go back to Europe.

I do like Fernandez but it just doesn't seem tempting enough. I feel like Bayless in a new situation has a greater upside. Too bad they probably feel the same way.

Mills is a guy I think is definately going to be able to play in the league as a pace changing back up, and we could definately use him the way our team is built. That said, Fernandez looked like crap this past season- but maybe BC thinks Avery Bradley will fall to 22?

He better be pretty sure of that.

Why is everyone assuming that Bradley will be there at 22? Recent reports claim that the Pacers are really high on him and have no shams with taking him at #10. He might not even be around at 13 to begin with.

Not a huge fan of this deal, makes me wonder how flat this draft really is though.

That's sort of the wrong question, imo.

A bad contract or a serviceable player.

Well, I'm under the impression that a good GM doesn't cripple the franchise by helping a turd find a new home after dogging the season for the team that paid him big bucks. To trade Hedo away for a worse (contract wise), unserviceable player would be an insult not only to the franchise but it's fans. I really hate this man....

I agree with people wanting Patty Mills to be added.

I wouldn't mind if the deal was expanded to include Turkoglu, Pryzbilla and whatever filler is necessary. With all the recent movement, there's a good chance one of Bledsoe or Bradley will be there at 22.

I know and right now he's kind of screwed in Portland for significant minutes. He's starting to find them but if they have needs to fill we need to exploit that to try and pry him away because to be able to get Bayless and the 22nd pick for the 13th and perhaps something else would be a nice start to our offseason.

Fernadez isn`t a starter on a good team. I`d love it if he was our 6th man though.
