Kemba should not be a top 7 pick. I'm okay to draft down to get him but top 7????????
Theres 4 big wings that we should pick over him (P jones T jones D williams and H barnes), 2 centers (valaciunas, kanter) and 1 pg (kyrie)

Does Kenneth Faried's performance today do anything for anyone? A possible Reggie Evans replacement? I think with the general concensus saying that this draft is weak will open up opportunities for pick acquisitions at a cheaper rate than usual. Bigs like Faried, Henson, etc will be available mid-first round and are worth taking a flyer on. I mean, look at LA and Boston, they were scary until Boston dealt Perkins but the best teams in the league stack up on quality bigs.

He referred to himself as a 4, although on certain teams, like ours, he could play the 3.

KINDA LIKE ANDREA BARGNANI PLAYING THE 3 RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT????

That's what I've been saying. He's a SF version of Amir but he can hit the three. Plus he has a grown man's body and Trevor Ariza type athletecism.

Great minds think alike. We just need to collect picks. Just draft a bunch of young guys like Portland did a few years ago and start our rise.

Amen to that. Only a couple years away - if we could do it.

I think a lot of people would say collecting picks takes a lot of assets. But if people feel like this is a weak draft we need to capitalize and fill out our role players, along with getting a couple gems in the process.

Why is no one talking about Brandon Knight? I would take a flyer on this kid.

I was super high on Brandon Knight before the season. I had him pegged higher than Kyrie Irving, but his point guard skills don't necessarily match my wants. I think he's more of a combo, I'm not sure he's gonna be the superstar he was projected by me to be.

Bucknell showed hard off the UCONN screens, and he'd immediately move the ball to an open shooter. He managed the game to near perfection, and when he got a chance, looked to score.

He's finished for the game.

18 pts (5-11 FGs, 2-5 3pt FGs), 8 rebs. 12 asts, and 2 stls. with just 2 TOs.

I'm a believer! the guy is just a player. In an era where kids come out after one or two years then stink in the NBA, Kemba is a throwback to the old days when guys actually stayed in school and worked on their games. I like his shot making ability, his quickness, his ball distribution skills, leadership and also the fact that he's not some little kid who will take years to reach his prime. He can fit in with our core pretty soon.

He shoots .276 from 3pt%.

Oh you only watched the last two games...

He's from the same high school class as DeMar and Ed Davis as well, not that it's a big deal or anything, but I'm sure those two guys know a little about Kemba.

For me, Irving is the guy to go after. But, it's nice to know that there is an alternative emerging in Kemba.

I suspect that he'll go to Cleveland, perhaps with their second top 10 pick (the Clippers pick) if they don't land Irving.

I'm a huge fan of PG's its my favorite position to watch so I guess I'm a little biased but an explosive point guard who can make shots and has good court vision is precisely what we need.

Its no secret Kyrie Irving is the guy I want hands down, but if we draft 5th and he's long gone and the alternative is drafting a guy like Kanter, Valciunanas(whatever) or even Sullinger I'd take Kemba! you can't develop speed and to a lesser extent ball handling skills. He would be an instant hit with our athletes too.

I think Kemba could be an impact player in the league, he can score and find the open man, I wouldn't draft him top 5 but if we somehow acquired another pick I wouldn't mind taking him.

That's the thing though. With Valanciunas and Barnes possibly on the board by the time we pick, I just can't realistically see us taking Walker over either of them. Bryan Colangelo would have to like Kemba a ton for him to do that. I wouldn't have a problem with taking Walker in that scenario, but you know people will.

Kemba strikes me as a BC guy. Quick athletic combo guard with shot making ability.

@ James Ben Gordon does not possess the ball handling and speed Kemba does. Kemba I would say is sort of like TJ Ford 2007 with a jumper.

No offence but I'm in disbelief that you want that.

I don't care the validation, no TEAM needs a chucker at PG. He will not have the same level of success in the NBA especially with the glut of PGs today. I will bet anything the team that drafts him will be whining about him being a chucker. Right now he's competing against nobodies in the NCAA --- hence why he's a top PG prospect. He's undersized, not a great passer which a team with the inability to creates (ie/ Raptors) needs, he's no Iverson and the beasts in today's NBA are going to eat him up.

NO F'ING WAY I WANT KEMBA WALKER ON THE RAPTORS --- EMPHATICALLY PASS!

Do your homework son! the Big East is the toughest conference in the NCAA. 7 ranked teams in the conference.

And also he's not a chucker if you even cared to watch him play you would see his ball distributing skills and his ability to penetrate and find men are constantly on display. It just so happens that he is counted on to take the big shots firstly because he makes them and secondly because he's so quick no one can stay with him. He is constantly doubled.

Anyway everything you have written just screams "I'm looking at the measurements and not the results." The kid is a leader and a winner and he's doing it with one of the great coaches in the game tutoring him. You think Calhoun is going to make a young PG chuck? lol... he is there go to guy that's why he gets the looks.
