I see Jose is taking the pound the rock phrase literally. He looks done.

Davis should be playing 28+

Demar hit 2 threes so thats a plus.

I liked Forbes too.
why was hakeem called "the dream"??"

Because it rhymes with 'Olajuwon'.

IMO Bargs was good at what we all needed to see him improve at, defense and rebounding.
His offense is always going to be there. I thought he had a great game.

I'm assuming you didn't watch the game or else you wouldn't have allowed to make yourself look so foolish.

Unfortunately, I did watch the game. And I'm not sure how anyone else who did could think that Bargnani played well.

One thing I found interesting was that we didn't see a single play called for him on the block. It might be a case of Casey not wanting to show his sets too early, or of stressing defense over offense for the preseason, but it was kind of strange considering he had mentioned putting AB in the post as a priority for this season.

That last play was awful but Jose and Amir seemed to mess up intially.

Jose ran the PnR with Amir but then passes to Amir at the 3pt line, who then hesitates, looks at Jose, then looks back at Demar, gets confused who to pass it to and finally gives it to Demar who has 5 seconds to create.

Amir has to be much quicker in his decision making process there. Jose with no recognition that he's passing the ball to Amir at the 3pt line (he's not Drea).

But overall, this game was really great to see and if its a trend, we should be good. Guys looked like they've improved on their weaknesses (DD with his 3pt shot and directing traffic, Drea with more energy on the boards and defensive end). Team looks to be forming a scrappy defensive identity. We are still going to lose a lot of games but as long as key players are making the right steps, weshould be good.

This game Amir played 20 min, Ed 20 min, Bargnani 32 min, Mcgloire 10 min and Gray 15 min. I can see Gray falling out of rotation and Mcgloire playing 5-10 minutes, meaning about 10-20 minutes more for Ed/Amir.

Amir didn't look like Amir, and lets hope its the ankle and not the extra weight. Ed looked good, would have like to see more of him but he had 4 fouls.

Then we're still likely better off trading him in favour of Amir and Davis.

You must have watched it with your eyes closed then. +/- normally punishes starters unless you're on a good team, which was not the case with us. Ed Davis came off the bench. His first couple seasons Kevin Durant was a negative in +/- too.

You can really tell which posters just have an irrational hatred of the guy when they regurgitate garbage like this after the game he played tonight.

I actually don't think he was particularly good defensively overall, but he was much closer to average and had some good plays here and there. That's really all I want and that's all guys like Boozer or Bosh really do. They aren't good defenders overall, but they rebound well and are closer to average on defense.

I watched it and he's right, that was a key defensive possession and they weren't able to come up with a defensive rebound. This is pre-season so its good that they'll learn from this.

Good analysis overall, and agree on that final play. Took too long to get going and as soon as Amir got isolated up-top with the ball, it was doomed to failure.
