Jeff Taylor is having himself a good game with 20 and 5.

He's a steal if he drops to the 2nd rd. Averaging 17 on the year on 53%, 48% from downtown. Good defender.

Holy **** is Beal fast in the open court! Went coast-to-coast for the easy lay-up beating two defenders.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

So 17 points on 10 shots is not good huh? What about 8 rebounds for your wingman?

Beal has 16 pts, 7 rebs (rebounding well again), and 5 asts.

I like Beal

And I bet he only measures out at 6'3" in shoes, but he plays the game like a man.

Excellent D on the bigger Jeff Taylor there, Vandy's best player

Call me crazy, but I'd take Bradley Beal over Jeremy Lamb. Although Lamb has the physical tools, I just love Beal's explosiveness.

I don't want either of those players on the Raps. Sullinger keeps giving me flashbacks of Corliss Wiliamson and I'm not interested in taking a risk on another tin man (PJIII)

LOL @ the Perry hate continuing. Lamb just went 3-21 and you have the nerve to call Perry a tin man?

tin man = no heart. lack of motor... not a guy who misses shots.

I think I've got to revise my surefire 'Impact' player group to include Beal with Barnes, MKG, and Davis. I think Sullinger could be in this group as well.

agreed, but I see some Westbrook in him. similar career trajectory so far... let's see how he finishes the year and maybe he can experience a similar spike in his draft position. granted, he probably won't go 4th overall

Dont get me wrong, I'm not a fan of one-dimensional wings but I think Beal plays better off the ball and is a better man defender.

Neither is worth a top 6 selection at this point.

I think Lamb has the higher ceiling, but there is a lot to like about Beal.

Beal is so intriguing. He can shoot from anywhere, has a great first step, and plays with a lot of fire. I used to think his floor was Michael Redd, but I am starting to think it might be a bit higher.

Really, what is lamb's true ceiling? He's a shoot first SG without a great first step who will struggle with the physicality of the NBA game. He's not a #1 option talent so I would worry about how he will get in the paint at the next level.

I can't help but think of Reggie Miller when I watch Lamb play. Admittedly though, Miller was a much better shooter but that was after 4 years at UCLA.
