guessing you haven't tried Libretto or Queen Margharita Pizza?

both certified to make Napoleon-style pizza.

Both Suck too! Why aren't there good pizza joints like there is NYC.

Infact Toronto food scene is so over-rated bad compared to other cities, which it shouldn't be considering how big the market/world class the city is.

There's nothing in North America that rivals Neapolitan pizza in Naples - no cheese, tomato sauce, basil, lightly dusted w/ black pepper, thinnest crust possible. The excess of cheese found throughout North America tends to disguise the freshness of ingredients, which isn't masked, but terrifically pronounced in said Mediterranean location. NYC can lay claim to some of the best North American-styled pizza, but it's only a distant relation to that of the continental original.

I agree wholeheartedly with Cyrus. Goto some of the restaurant hot spots in NYC, Chicago, San Fran or Boston and they crap all over what we have to offer in Toronto.

Pizzeria Libretto (2 locations, Ossington & the Danforth).

+1 Best Pizza in Toronto hands down but can get pricy.

For regular take out I would say either Pizza Nova or Mamma's Pizza.

So my highbrow whiners in here, complaining we don't have pizza like in Naples, lol.

How about if Pizza Pizza just wasn't called pizza. There's this one cheese pizza thing sold at Walmart. It's called a "cheesy melt" instead of pizza. Kinda like how Breyers no longer calls itself ice cream, but rather "frozen dessert" because they don't use enough cream or milk to qualify.

Yeah Pizza Pizza is pretty average. I usually go to Papa John's. Never disappoints.
