The new NBA is about finishing at the rim and 3pt shots, 2 things Sonny Weems cannot do. A mid-range jumpshooter with a low bbiq, things don't bold well for him

He became a big time 3 point chucker while in Europe, so no problem here. Not the most efficient player tho, didn't had a very good season, needs to be more aggressive.

His contract was terminated by "mutual agreement", which isn't surprising with the Russian economy going down the toilet. I wonder if Nando de Colo may end up back with the Raptors the same way.

It was probably convenient for both parties to part ways. Guy was one of the most expensive players in Europe, but last year he was just adequate. I doubt CSKA has financial problems, but that just wasn't a very good contract. Nando was much better, I doubt CSKA lets him go.
