Ha ha we smoked them.
I liked Demar's game today, dbl team passed it. Decent defense.

Re: PG: Plan the Parade
Only in Casey's "system" could a guy go from being glued to the bench in a horrific loss to being one of the best players on the court in major minutes.
Casey deserves zero credit for inserting Norm into the starting lineup. He deserves criticism for not doing it sooner. The fact he only got garbage time in the 30-point loss is totally inexcusable.

Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Milwaukee didn't even use Greivas Trashquez but traded Powell for him

Re: PG: Plan the Parade
I am in awe. What a complete effort on both ends of the floor. While the Bucks shot 50%, our defence was actually very good. We forced a lot of turnovers and we didn't allow the Bucks to get any second chance points. On the offensive end, everything was working. We had 28 assists on 41 FGM and shot 57% from the field. Lowry was the only starter to shoot below 50% ; he was 4/9 for 16 points with 10 assists and 3 steals. Powell lead the way with 25 points (4 3FGM, 3 steals and a few ridiculous dunks) on 11 FGA, Ibaka gave us 19 points on 10 FGA, DeRozan gave us 18 points on 7/14 shooting (and 6 assists) and Carroll had one of his best games since he was still playing for Atlanta. Joseph and JV both played very well off the bench. Tucker and Patterson had solid games.
The only issues I had with tonight: Brogdon and Snell were left open from behind the arc a few too many times (combined 8/11 on 3FGA) and we were a bit careless with the ball. It didn't matter tonight when everything else was clicking, but that can't happen in game 6 in Milwaukee.

Powell's dunks are so naaaaaasty!
Pessimists are in a win-win situation. Whatever happens, they are either always right or pleasantly surprised.

Well this feels different. I don't think I have felt this in a very long time if at all...a blowout...but resulting in a win.

Not really. Why can't you be happy for both? I know Canadians have inferiority complexes with Americans but only in Toronto does it carry over between teams in the same city. That makes your complex chronic.
