Yep, Pacers suppose to be a lottery team, some around 25-30th in the league. There must a mistake in the system claiming their wins vs Cavs 3-1 and Bucks 3-1

Beating Philly in the first round would be a statement. I'd take that over beating some hapless first round team that nobody is paying any attention to.

I’ve never heard of a 1/2 seed making a huge statement by beating a 7/8 seed. Just sayin.

by the same token, this is also why i don't care which round we face the cavs in. if we're actually good enough, we beat them anywhere.

I think us beating philly --- convincingly --- would be somewhat of a statement.

I think Philly is quite good, but considering that their entire core has zero combined playoff games I don’t think it will be considered impressive. Everyone would just focus on their playoff inexperience.

At this stage, nothing short of beating the Cavs or winning the east will be considered a statement in both the media and the court of public opinion.

Philly is way better than their record and everyone knows it. It would be impressive, and it would be a terrible matchup for the #1.

With Embiid playing:
32-20 ( .615)

Without Embiid playing:
3-8

If he plays the whole season at that pace they would currently have 39 wins, and would be two games up on Cleveland for the 3 seed.

Plus they have had a huge schedule imbalance having currently played the leagues most difficult schedule. They have the leagues easiest schedule to finish the season.

And they’ve added two sharpshooters since the deadline helping improve their biggest weakness

I don’t think a lot of people realize how incredibly dangerous this team is and that’s the main reason that I don’t think most people will be all that impressed if the Raps beat them. People will just look at their record and their playoff inexperience and assume that the Raps are supposed to kill them.

Well for those reasons, we would hope that they end up into the 5 or 6 seed. Quite attainable really. Even 3 is well within reach.
