This is exactly the case :lol:. But I still think years down the line, the appreciation will be back. The highlights of the run are still there. The parallel of the Vince/Philly shot will be aired forever. Of course there's always going to be those acting like scorned lovers over it, but there's going to be a nostalgia factor after years of disappointment sandwiching this run that'll ring true,

At least Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry, and Serge Ibaka will always be thankful for him helping and leading them to their achieving childhood dreams after many playoff disappointments

I even wanted to bet on the Clippers to get Kawhi when they went to +400 but would’ve felt terrible so I didn’t. FML
