I think this might be the first time I've ever agreed with you.

For me, wins are like chocolate chip cookies at this point. You know they are probably bad for you, but you can't resist getting your fingers in that jar for one more.

I have never seen a team so undermanned.

Flynn!
Trent Jr.
OG/Johnson
Pascal/Boucher
Baynes/Watanabe

This reminds me of before the all-star break when half the team was in covid protocol, and instead of suspending all our games indefinitely like the league did with every other team, they pushed one back by 1 day to create a new B2B against Boston.

The NBA has absolutely helped this tank.

I think we should just go with Flynn, Stanley, Yuta, Boucher, Baynes for the full 48 just to get in the record books a few times.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

We haven’t had an elite pander to the home market guy since Demar left. Trent Jr. knows how it’s done. He hasn’t even played in Toronto yet.

I think that the NBA's policies are complicit, although I am not sure how they treated us differently than other teams. I thought cancellations only occurred when teams could not make the min. active player requirements.

The other issue which is not really discussed is the Raptor's ownership. The FO had roster spaces open that could be filled with minimum deals, could waive and stretch useless guys like McCaw, apply for injured player exceptions to add to their roster through out this time. MLSE likely didn't want to pay anything they didn't have to. Even the trades of Thomas and Davis seemed like straight salary dumps. The team's ownership was far more concerned with their bottom-line than on-court performance.

Depends how he finishes out the season but we’re starting him and an average starter gets 15 million per. I think he either gets 4 years 66 with a player option in year 4 or the OG deal of 4 years 72 but without OG’s player option. If he really finishes strong then maybe he gets the player option on 4 years 72 million.
