Yes. Only player in Australia who would likely be available within the top 10 picks.

Who laughed at you? Anyone that spends time on raptors realgm knows Masai is more valuable than Giannis.

So Masai knew this team wasn’t going to do anything in the playoffs / play in. Majority of RGM is in shock.

Nothing is clear. Masai has beefs with some parts of ownership that are disappointing him.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

Hahahaha called out Steve Simmons
Oh, I love this dude to death.

Anyway, that was a very illuminating presser. If you read between the lines, that's not a dude that is leaving. He still has work to do.

It really depends. I think the Leafs are still king, and that plays into the politics of things.

Everyone thinks he is staying after that?

I got opposite vibes. He mentioned his family twice, the "three young kids".. And the amount of other things he wants to pursue.

Then again he did mention his role provides a big platform.

Then again he cried towards the end as if he was saying good bye.. Or maybe just good bye to Kyle.

So not much here, obviously. Our reporters all pile on with the same questions and waste their opportunity. Glad Will Lou went into the nuts and bolts of the draft.

The most important stuff is that Masai took a shot at Bell/Rogers for not promoting the Raptors on TV as well. Sounds like that will be a demand at the negotiation table.

The second kind of revealing thing was his note about either choosing BPA or best fit, like it was an either/or. Usually GMs will all just say BPA and be done with it.

He pretty much said it's incumbent on negotiations with ownership and we know Larry T will give him basically whatever he wants.

I think part of it is covid, part of it is potentially leaving in a tough rebuilding situation and he's not satisfied with where we're at as an organisation. Masai has been around the world, he knows the global potential of this team and its diverse, international fanbase.

He just wants equal footing with the Leafs and he will get it.

He said he's leaving for Africa in a couple of days. I think he's gone, or he's so hands off now he isn't involved in the draft at all.

Masai always said Raptors and basketball will take over and hes right

yet we dont get the credit we deserve. Just look at TSN and Sportsnet , its all hockey and that hurts us

Hes 100% right. We are owned by two major media comglemerates yet we hardly talk about the Raps.

Our brand needs to get bigger !!!!

he goes every year, every year we have a pick, this year he has more time to go and come back early.
