That is why we likely don't draft Mobley

If he falls to us, we obv do tho. He doesnt give the Raps the wing star they need, but nobody else in the draft does, and he still does have great 2 way potential. You take that and run

Yah....if mobley falls to us that would mean cade/green/suggs are off the table. You'd have to justify taking kuminga or barnes or mitchell over him and thats not happening.

That's what I like most about this pick. There is no stress.

I guarantee it'll be stressful from 8:00-8:30 pm on July 29th

In the modern NBA in terms of impact on winning, guards & wings > big man. Factoring that in, then we likely stick with Green / Suggs as BPA over Mobley.

at number 4, thats now our choice, lol.

it's possible. HOU has an amateur GM, CLE is a perennial bad picker - they could go for Davion Mitchell and Kuminga or a post-combine hyped Scottie Barnes.

What's the appeal with Turner? I think his game is pretty mediocre and his team defense isn't so great. There's a reason he's always on the trading block. Would much rather keep FVV.

We're drafting the best player in college ball boys. Incredible.

I feel like Suggs’ game will be so good with nba level spacing.

I’m also team Mobley. I feel as though Suggs could fall too, depending on what Cleveland decides to do with their two point guards.
I believe in Masai.

A little perspective exercise for all the FVV deniers:

The 4th overall pick in fred's draft class= Dragan Bender

4th overall 2017 = josh jackson
4th overall 2018 = Jaren Jackson
4th overall 2019 = De'andre Hunter
4th overall 2020 = Patrick Williams.

Note...none of these players have garnered an mvp fimals vote, none have or will sniff a 50 point game, none have established perrenial top 5 positions in steals/blocks....but perhaps most importantly, none of them are the illest.

Am I the only guy who isn't high on Suggs?

We also sacrifice Malachi ball-time bringing him here and I don't really want to trade Flynn. He's going to turn into a good player who'll be too good to have off the bench.

When you have a prospect like Suggs, you dont even think about FLynn

I honestly like all of the top 4 picks, ill even say top 5 with Kuminga.....after that it's a huge drop for me

Thats exactly my feeling too but i diddnt think to mention wiggins as a comparison.

I get the sense green is either going to be VERY good or VERY underwhelming and nothing in between. Suggs is the sure thing imo. I want the high iq guy.

I was thinking about this too. Like when BC drafted Bargs because of his Euro fetish. I have faith in Masai though.

This draft class is better than all of those.

This could happen.

But from what I've read during my brief research on prospects, sounds like he'll take longer to develop and I don't know if Raptors management would think they have the time to wait on him to develop.

Will just have to trust that they know what they are doing whatever the case.

For now, I feel fine with Raptors taking whoever drops in top 4. They all look like fine prospects in their own right and everyone has their own weaknesses.

Yah. There will be no problem playing suggs/fred/flynn as our rotating guards. All of them are high iq. They'll figure it out.

This might mean kyle is gone for sure though.
