Well... that doesn't look to good so far.
Good game. Very entertaining for pre-season.
Bubble so far has to be Johnson, Dekker, Gillespie?
So far, I would say so.
Gillespie hasn't looked good since last year. Johnson ruined the flow of things when he came in, trying too hard to make things happen, but it wasn't working. Bonga seems to fit the team identity a little better than Dekker. Isaac also had some great reads and played more in control today than Dekker.

Banton is gonna be a special player, very impressed with him in SL and what I saw tonight. He should not only make this team but be part of the rotation.

Precious will be starting by December
OG looks ready for the next step
Svi is the new matt thomas
Banton looked awful, he's going to be a 905er atleast this year
He likely will spend most of the season in the G-League, but he was good tonight. 6 PTS / 5 REB / 4 AST / 2 BLK / 1 STL / +9 and instantly changed the complexion of the game when he checked in late in Q1. He had a bit of a rough 2nd half and finished with 5 TOV, but still had a good game overall and there's a lot to like from his game and size/measurements.

We apparently didn't watch the same game.

We out rebounded them 57-40 today. What do we even need a centre for? If we can out gang rebound opponents and contest shots at the rim with our length, every team with a big will have a hard time matching up with us.

Re: PG: The Scottie Barnes Experience
Banton just oozes potential to me. Obviously he has a lot of work to do in taking care of the ball, but I like his aggressiveness. If/when he improves his shooting, he's a rotation player for sure.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Primo is an absolute stud. Spurs found another gem.

Re: PG: The Scottie Barnes Experience
All this hype over Scottie's personality and energy sounded like predraft fluff, but watch him out there from pregame walk out to end of game and its undeniable.
It's not run of the mill 'high motor, good teammate', it's the type of energy that rubs off on people and gets them hyped up and locked in for a meaningless preseason game.
If this kid actually develops a half court scoring skillset to match, he has a one of kind iconic player type ceiling

tSame as FVV and we played the Sixers' C team.
We can be excited about Barnes without dumping on Suggs

He took off from the free throw line with a finger roll. I don’t know how many players I’ve seen do that.

Drummond kind of had his way with us though.
