Nick Nurse 40-1 odds for coach of the Year
Toronto Raptors 35-1 odds to win the Atlantic Division

Get them now before the market starts to upgrade their odds.

Masai and Nurse are absolutely force feeding wins down this fanbase's throat.

Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

Mobley next. Was hoping we'd get to see a ROTY showdown with Scottie, but I guess that will have to wait.

pingpongrac wrote:Wizards announcers were so bad late in the game. Washington had a 30-15 FTA advantage before the intentional fouls that sent Birch to the line twice (and FVV for the single FT) and they wouldn't stop going on about the goaltend on Dinwiddie as the reason they lost. Then they kept doubling down and saying the foul on Trent/tech right after were bad calls. The goaltend was missed and it was an awful no-call, but that KCP foul on Trent was clear as day and the tech was deserved. As if one call in a game where the opposition was getting hosed for 90% of the game is the reason why you lost lol.

wiz put us in the bonus early 3 straight quarters, at one point it was 18-8 foul calls iun their favor and they still ended the game shooting 10 more fts than us

but they favor the raptors according to wiz fans hahaha

this team is........ just SO FUN, Nick has the boys playing all out. Still laughing out loud when OG is pulling half-spin one-legged fadeaways after looking like bambi every season before this, do we have another raptor frontrunning MIP???

I'm extremely impressed with Banton's defense. Keeps his man in front, doesn't bite on fakes, steers his opponent into paint defenders. When he has arms out stretched, he covers like half the court. Combine that his playmaking and ballhandling and you got yourself a lottery talent.

Full credit to the players for buying in at the defensive end. And kudos to Masai for assembling quality depth. And what more can you say about Nurse.
I called 7-3 in the "predict our record" thread, but I was under the assumption that Siakam would have been back earlier because Nurse said he was going 100% for weeks without contact and was about to start full contact. I thought he would have been back for the Knicks game and we would have been 4-3 at that point with losses to the Celtics and Mavs plus one other tougher team (Pacers or Bulls). How we have won 5 straight after starting 1-3 is extremely impressive, especially the last two wins without Barnes. Our offence has been pretty darn good and our defence has been elite since the opener.

the wins here are great.
But whats even better is that there's no 'will he stay or won't he stay' issues like we've had with Bosh, Demar, lowry or Kawhi.
The team you see here; the core will be here for years to come and you can see the future in this core and its a bright future.
