From the sounds of it we won't have Gary or OG for some time. Even being at home this stretch of games won't be easy. We're down 2 of our best perimeter defenders.

It's unprofessional that the Raptors feel the need to be so deceitful when reporting injuries and their severity. If it was the playoffs go ahead and do your thing, but I dont see other organizations being this way in the regular season.

Silver lining. Having Svi start will be an opportunity to further assess how he goes with starters in game situation. I know it’s unrealistic but I continue to think GTJ is the spark we need off the bench.

Have the Raptors ticket prices come down from beginning of season inflated prices?

Still think we win. Celtics are missing a bunch of their guys too and we still have Fred and Siakam who have that winning culture.
Oh no doubt. Eazy Dub

Although the sample size isn’t that large, Gary seems to play well only when he starts and isn’t nearly as effective coming off the bench. Much like Norm

Man....if it turns out OG is out for another 3 weeks or something like that....we're probably only one more significant injury away from considering the last quarter season tank.

I figured we could be 6 to 8 seed but alot of things needed to go right for that happen. Health being a main one.

Could also be the player culture we have here? Not saying that’s definitely what’s going on and it could be secretive org stuff, but releasing medical information needs player consent.

Actually it would be interesting to know whether this is something included in player contracts, like players agree for the NBA or teams to release their medical information for injuries sustained. If I was the player I don’t know if I would want my medical information out there, but I would accept it being out there to sign a 100 million dollar contract.

This is a bad stretch for OG to go down for, It doesn't help that Gary is out also. Siakam and Freddy need to really step up for us. I think we could still win tonight given Boston's injuries

The season hinges performing well at home from now until January 11th

After that we're extremely road heavy from January 14th - March 21st. 23 Road Games vs. 8 Homes Games during that stretch

If an injury is preventing them from playing in a game it has to be reported. If its a personal matter they don't have to release full details obviously. As gambling becomes legal in more and more places and becomes intertwined with the league its going to put even more emphasis on timely and correct injury reports.
