Re: 2023 Draft Prospect discussion
On pure vibes and assuming we win like 47 games. My guess at guys who might be picked around 20th by the Raptors:
Arthur Kaluuma - Creighton
-Very inefficient but he's 6'7, 220, athletic, plays hard, has skill and is a willing shooter.
Kyle Filipowski - Duke
-He might be great in college but still fall in the draft. A 6'10 shooting and ball handler at the 5 might help us in the halfcourt on offense and we might have minutes there once Boucher ages out depending on how Koloko and Achiuwa develop. If both are backups or Koloko isn't good enough on O to make the rotation there will be minutes at the 5. Maybe our length and aggressive system are a better fit for a decently mobile 5 who isn't a rim protector than a team that asks their 5 to be their best defender on most plays rather than just make smart reads and move his feet a bit.
Terquavion Smith
-Scoring guard, might last until us. Could have come out this year.
Kris Murray
-Basically another Raptors sized forward but one who can shoot so a nice Porter replacement as a sophomore once Porter leaves
Leonard Miller
-Canadian, 6'10 guard
Matthew Cleveland
-6th man of the year at FSU like Scottie, aggressive scorer and shot is a question mark
I don't see him going top 25 but I think we're a logical fit for Caleb Love, who is an absurdly inefficient offensive player but has great strength for a 1 and locks in on D and can shoot the 3. If he's the backup PG and Barnes and Siakam are running the show anyways, he might be a nice Rozier with better size and defence type for us.
Also in general I think Houston is a team to watch along with FSU for future Raptors, as they try to win the possession battle and go for guys who play really hard and play team ball well. So that's Arcenaux, Sasser and Walker this year. Sasser had some injury issues, but I think there's a chance he's a real NBA shooter and comfortable applying ball pressure we like from FVV and Trent.

Man's parents dumped all their cash into VC so they could max out all the sliders.
Is this build even possible in 2K?

We find a way to get Portlands pick! That's the best way into the lottery IMO.

This is KD on steroids. Legitimately something we’ve never seen. Even though I’ve watched him play countless times, every time you watch him again it’s like your brain can’t comprehend that it’s real.

Scoot looks incredible as well, but I don't know how any one could pass on VW even if there's health concerns with 7'4" freaks.

Re: 2023 Draft Prospect discussion
Victor is the clear cut #1. This is a pretty easy decision for me.
Scoot has a lot of big questions to answer when it comes to jumping to the NBA level:
1) Can he develop a consistent jumper?
2) Can he defend?
3) Can he develop his playmaking skills?
4) Can he get bigger? He won't get much bigger than 6'2, but can he add weight?
Victor already has so many NBA level skills and at 7'4, he's a unicorn.

Well Henderson can shoot now
Right now he's not a liability on defense
He can very well playmaker. He can get into the paint with the best of em, so kick outs and dimea won't be a problem. He's a master in the PnR
Can he get bigger? Ofcourse he'll get bigger, everyone gets bigger once your an NBA professional.
Victor will definitely be #1 but I have scoot winning ROY

He's not KD or Gainnis, he's just a better more mobile lankier porzingas, with a better handle and jumper and defense. lol he's just a flat out better porzingas, which is still amazing.

I was going to say - a better Porzingis is amazing. Porzingis is a unicorn in his own right, a unicorn on steroids is dominating. But I agree that he's not as strong and physically dominating as Giannis (plus Giannis has court vision). He's also not as good KD in terms of being a pure scorer but still he's special. If we got him we would be a dynasty with Scottie, Siakam and it doesn't really matter who else.
