People clown Temple - but times like this (trades) is where having a vet like him getting the new guys up to speed will be nice to have

That's what assistant coaches should be for. We got like 15 of them, wtf are they doing? Lol

Don't gotta waste a roster spot on a dude who doesn't play ever when we can give looks to guys like Porter, JFL, etc.

There’s a reason teams have vets. Teammates have different relationships than coaches do with the players. It’s one thing for Darko to say something, but if a 17 year vet who goes through practice everyday and does everything with you says something, it might stick a bit.

It was either Temple or some other undrafted FA. It really isn’t significant from a talent standpoint

Temples great if we have a good team but this team needs to take chances on as many undrafted guys and start hitting somewhat like they did in the past.

Also we already had Thad and Porter on this team lol.

Undrafted FAs historically have a very small hit rate - with every team now having 3 two-way deals the hit rate for guys available drops even more (as the alternative to Temple is about 90 players shallower than it would’ve been pre-two way).

The whole idea behind the 2-ways was a way to get teams more spots for projects while being able to still have vets. It’s why every bad team has vets still.

Detroit has Bogdan, Burks, Harris
Wiz have Gallinari
Raps have Temple and Thad
Charlotte has Ish Smith
Orlando got Ingles
Rockets have Boban and Green

The only teams who really didn’t were Spurs and Blazers who probably actively didn’t grab them as they wanna suck

Make no mistake, we got worse by taking on RJ Barrett, he's been a negative player outside of 1 year.

He's the new Raptor fans whipping boy in which fans will hate.

IQ needs to take a jump 'this year' as a starter for us to start winning.

Watching this Knicks game and what I realized was how much I miss defense that is half competent. In the last few years I think I am traumatized by all the open 3s we have allowed.

Hilarious how you named all those guys and didn't realize they all practically play for their teams except our vets and Boban lol.

IQ should start every game. We just lost to Detroit. IQ and RJ should both be starting plain and simple. If Schroeder and Trent have an issue with that they should have played better.

Pretty impressive that Randle/Brunson have the ball 90% of the time, yet RJ found a way to average 27% usage the last 3 years. Weird right?

Win or loss, I think Masai is going to trade Siakam.

Seeing Masai finally finished evaluating, I'm cheering for the raptors to win now, not to make the play-in, but for some good momentum for new Scottie-Quickley era

That would be a great fit honestly.

Not sure if Knicks have cap space to sign Donovan in FA, because there is nothing much Cavs would want in a trade with knicks
