Still a pretty bad game for him. His confidence is at an all-time low.
Need him to be better.

Missed most of the game except the 2 mins of OT. Was he missing open shots today

Masai thank you for the OG trade, I'd much rather the 2 for 1 of IQ n RJ
Masai thanks for the BI trade,

Masai, THANK YOU

People were down on CMB too quick, his name was the detonator for a reason. What a lovely player to have. Also Alijah Martin is an absolute dog. If he develops a corner 3, we have a solid 3+D guy off the bench.

Maxy really felt like he ended us after that three with that huge smile. I can't lie I really thought he did but man these guys fight.

That's a shame.

... I was someone who really wanted him to succeed. We really need that type of skillset.

He just... sucks.

But it's a skillset he actually doesn't seem to have unfortunately.

Personally, I see little difference between Walter and Dick so I'm good with either being gone. I don't really see anything special with Walter (his D looks comparably better next to Dick but he ain't some POA lockdown defender and he's really slight and gets easily pushed around by bigger guards) and I think with a bit more focus and minutes, Dick can be more dynamic offensively and be better. But if we just need a shooter, we can do better with Battle.

Handles were looser than usual.
Missed a bunch of floaters.
And yeah, he was just missing a lot of open shots. No rhythm whatsoever.

I am fuming after this win because of the refs - again.

But Martin is a freaking dawg. Shead, Barnes, CMB, Martin in the same lineup are an absolute menace on defense. Develop this Martin guy!

IQ - I feel bad for him as Darko keeps putting him in a terrible position by continuing to let him handle the ball when he’s just not a guy who can make great decisions with the game on the line. Let him focus on hitting jumpers and coming off screens. Poor leadership from Darko imo.

CMB is evolving before our eyes. He’s Barns with better hops on defense and better lateral quicks.

Barnes hates Nurse lol. You could tell Barnes wanted to put his imprint on this game with his offensive aggression.

IQ played better when he realized he doesn't have to chuck as first option.

Martin looks like he's now able to apply the same ball pressure he did in the Summer league. The game has slowed down for him big time. If he gets more consistent with this jumper he could be the difference.

How the **** did you wave off Barnes’ and-1 at the end and call a travel on a turnaround jumper with less than a minute left in regulation time? Has anyone ever seen a travel on a turnaround jumper before? Why do they think fans pay to watch these games? Why does this only seem to happen to Toronto?

I have no doubt Barnes probably has the highest percentage of and-1s waved off in the NBA. He must be averaging about one a game

I only read half way through, but Barnes 100% traveled at that end of the game play. He moved his pivot foot. 100% right call, despite he made the shot.

It sucks that sea will get away with it but that's a whole thing.

The impressive thing about our rookies and sophomores is their intangibles. They make the little plays that don't appear on the box score that you would expect from veteran players. Both CMB and Martin had critical plays where they poked the ball off the 76ers player fighting for loose balls out of bounds.

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.

Am I weird for thinking at full strength we have a legit shot against any eastern conference team in the playoffs?

Only worried about the west.

That was weird him getting all bent out of shape in the first minute of the game.
