Toronto shouldnt get James Johnson. I dont think they would do Tyrus + Johnson for Haywood i mean they have Noah/Miller their. makes no sense really to give up 2 rookies. Maybe something like this, on the top of my head.

TOR: Caron Butler + Deshawn Stevenson + Earl Boykins
WAS: Tyrus Thomas + Jose Calderon + John Salmons
CHI: Brendan Haywood + Antonie Wright + Rasho Nesterovic

Dump Stevensons contract, get some young talent. Bulls dump Salmons contract and get a replacement in Wright. Toronto gets Butler and a backup PG. Only problem would be Miller/Noah/Haywood.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Washington is not going to take Jose.

Arenas' contract isn't voided yet. The earliest I've heard on the status of that case is March. If he gets sentenced to jail time, his contract has a good chance of being voided. If he doesn't go to jail, the contract isn't getting voided. We won't know this until at least March, which is after the trading deadline.

What this means is that Washington is not going to take on Jose, or any PG making significant money, until the Arenas situation gets figured out. We might be able to swing a deal in the offseason involving Jose IF Arenas' contract gets voided, but even then its unlikely because frankly Jose isn't worth his salary and they won't have any awful contracts to trade at that point.

We aren't getting Butler for Calderon. If we do, I will run around naked in the 2 feet of snow outside of my house in celebration. And I'll post pictures (or it didn't happen). That's how confident I am that the Wizards won't take Calderon.

Amir
Banks
Rasho

for

Dally
Ivey

Jack/Calderon/Ivey
Derozan/Belinelli
Hedo/Wright/Weems
Bosh/Evans
Bargnani/Dalembert/O'Byrant

seems pretty solid. Gives us someone who we can put on Horford, Howard, Garnett. He also would make Joses defense look better. When hes on the court the 76ers give up 8 less points than when hes off. Thats pretty big.

How about Nazr from bobcats? if the big baby stuff is true their front-court just got a bit more crowded.

In 2009, when Wright asked a Colorado judge to intervene, Weems didn’t even bother sending a lawyer to court.

Since when does Weems bring any kind of defense to the court anyway?

Rapsobsessed7, I take it you really like ESPN Trade Machine... I think I have literally seen you propose 100 different trades in the past month alone, literally.

Anyways, I don't know what all the second tier pieces will be, but I sure hope that BC is exploring a deal for Jose... since I cant really see a what we would want from teams needing a PG, as mentioned numerous times in this thread, by others and by myself, it will most likely be a 3way deal.

Jose going to Team X (who needs a PG)
SG from Team Y going to the Raps
Prospects, role players and/or expirings from Team X and Raps going to Team Y.

In terms of the usual suspects for available SG's that are routinely mentioned, mt order of preferance would be:

1. Iggy (he's just a stud) 2a. Maggette 2b. Butler (i'm torn between who Iwould rather have between Mags / Butler... Mag has longer contract, but its at an ok number... Butler has shorter deal, but who knows what his demands will be this summer... I think Mags is a better fit for us, and just the better player, so I Put him as 2a.)

I want to stay away from Miller, Martin and Howard....

Three way between Toronto Washington and the Lakers

To the Lakers

Calderon
Rasho
Wright

To Washington

Morrison
Fischer
Walton
Banks
Evans

To the Raps

Butler
Arenas

LA dumps Walton and picks up the PG they desire while saving money, the Wizards much to their surprise clean up the Arenas fiasco while cutting longterm salary commitments, while Toronto rolls the dice dumping unwanted contracts in exchange for troubled talent, picking up Butler as a reward along the way and most importantly tempting Bosh for the 2010/11 season.
