How can people say the Mavs are done, they lost by 2 points and they missed a ton of wide open shots...especially Kidd, this game could have quite easily gone the other way

It was. But Miami got more bad calls this game, so it doesn't really matter.

They reviewed it with slo-mo. Commentators said it's not a backcourt

Are you actually serious? lol

it was backcourt man. they went back to the replay a second time on the commercial break after and jvg said that because his heel was still on the line when he caught the ball, it was an uncalled violation. the halfcourt line is essentially an out-of-bounds line, and he was still stepping on it when he caught the ball.

but yea, that was barely the difference if you take into account all the mickey mouse loose-ball fouls on miami.

They actually showed it again during the 3rd (or maybe 4th) quarter, and corrected themselves

They said it was a backcourt and it was a no call. But both sides got some bad calls so it evens out.

I thought the refs were bad this game... More bad calls against Miami.

Dirk was unstoppable for a long stretch... Bosh struggled but he hit some key baskets/points in the 4th...and that game winner. Game winners makes up for the rest of the game easily.

Chalmers was definitely an XFactor. He hit some timely 3s. Joel Anthony doesn't get a lot of attention but he's been really solid for them defensively.
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.
The Heat will choke!

Yeah I mean Dirk has been playing well, but Joel Anthony is still making it tougher for him. Anthony's doing a good job of denying the passes. It could just have been Barea though lol

Dallas needs a lot more from Jason Terry, ...some impact from Peja and Barea to win this series.

Peja has been pretty bad/no impact. Barea missed some pretty good looks.

LOL my bad, Chris. I thought he was crying, but it's due to the fact that he was hit in the eye. His eye is raining tears though lol.

Miami is clearly the better the team. I thought they'd win in 6 coming in and its looking that way but 5 is very possible if they decide to stop easing up in the 4th. Dallas' PGs need to somehow make an impact offesnively. Barea isn't handling the increased pressure very well and Kidd is one of the worst PGs in the league inside the 3 point line.

I hope Dallas somehow grabs Nash in the off season. They don't have enough offensive firepower outside of Dirk to be starting a non-scorer/weak P&R player at the 1.

This is pretty sad. I really feel for Dirk.

IMO, Kidd is fine... and has been solid.

They just need to take out Peja and put in Butler or (upgrade) and they just need Terry to score like in the 4th quarter of Game 2. Butler would be better than Stevenson/Peja.

I'm impressed with Marion's defense on LeBJ.
Also surprised that DW told at the end that he was on CB for lack of rebounds against Chandler. Most guys don't talk about these things with media.

He just answered the question honestly. The reporter asked him if he was getting into Bosh's ear during timeout(s) about passing up shots in the 4th... He just clarified that he wants Bosh to be aggressive but moreso, the Heat need him to rebound.

I'm not criticizing him, rather appreciate his honesty. He is a great leader and as the games becomes more important I expect him to step up as the true team leader.

Yea... He was right to speak to Bosh about it... Bosh wasn't doing a good job at it. Wade is definitely a great leader. He was huge this game.

That lack of a solid 2nd scorer/3rd scorer is killing the Mavs, and the point guard situation.
