Re: PG: derozan will never learn
What a disappointing loss but we can easily beat the Wizards I truly believe that....I’m just curious if the Raps are going to make the right adjustments for game 5 and on. They just gotta play with the same confidence they do at home on the road.Stick to your bread and butter to what got you the number seed. Easy said then done but if they somehow can’t execute then they simply don’t deserve to advance further in the playoffs. I still think we should end this in 6 games and man o man do we miss FVV? Without him the bench looks completely out of sync.

That was basically the game.

Right - that's why Casey has been quite successful in the past few years both in the regular season and playoffs. You're just looking to point the finger at someone so to say "that's the guy, that's the problem" - but it's more complicated than that.
Deep down inside, do you really believe that? Please, please say no

It's not about believing, it's a fact.

I cannot wait for the Casey, DeRozan, Lowry, and Valanciunas era to end.
The annoying part is that he severely lacks the IQ and talent to warrant going into hero mode. If he was even close to the level of a Kyrie or Harden it'd be a bit more understandable. The shots he was chucking and decisions he was making were disgraceful. There are no superstars on this team he needs to play his role. His solution to helping the offense was to brute force his way into 30 shots.

Why did people ignore Raptors success in the regular season? Because they knew this would happen.
Raps better win Game 5 or they might go down as the biggest joke in playoff history

It happens, don't get too down. Washington is a good team better than a typical 8 seed. Plus they play VERY well at home in the playoffs.
Spurs were 2-2 against the 8th seed in two separate championship years (2003, 2014). Lakers were 2-2 against the 8th seeded Thunder in 2010 when they won the championship. Celtics were 2-2 against the 8th seeded Hawks who were WAY worse than the current Wizards the year they won the title. It's playoff basketball. No one will just lay down.
Seriously I wouldn't even be surprised if the Rockets lose game 4 tomorrow in Minnesota and that series will be 2-2.
Look at it this way. The Wizards killed themselves to win this game at home because they knew they had to, Beal had an amazing game, Porter played his best game, no one on the Raptors was unbelievable, and having said all of that the game was right there for the taking for the Raptors. They just went cold at the worst possible time. Move on to game 5 back at home.
You guys got this.

Im trying dude, Im trying.

I thought both teams looked like garbage. It was one extremely ugly game. One thing became clear to me....neither of these teams are going to get past the second round. Not a chance.

Demar’s 37 in game 2 made him fall off the wagon

I still feel like that JV flagrant was bull. He pretty much played it perfect what else can he do but give the green light for a lay up?
Mike Fratello is a smart guy but he kinda gets on my nerves.
Nice to see the bench unit get going at least, "the basketball IQ of this second unit is off the charts."
Beal is good but not a fan. Wall is better. Raps need to keep winning at home it seems.

Whenever we have bigs like Siakam on him he does nothing because they don't play him for the shot. But all of our guards are instructed to guard him in the dumbest ways.
4 ******* games and no simple adjustment to this obvious, obvious flaw.
I thought handing over the offense to Nurse would be enough to shelter us from Casey's coaching. But there is no escape.
We should still have this series in 6, but forget the finals. If it isn't Lebron, it'll be Simmonds if we can't gameplan for someone as simple as Wall. The team is good enough. I think it truly is. We don't have the coaching to get there.
Sometimes they do go under but Gortat pulls a moving screen and for some reason gets away with it all the time.

The refs were ****, nobody will argue that. But Casey, for the love of God treat DeRozan like every other player on the team. If he is playing like crap bench him, WHY CANT YOU JUST BENCH HIM! I love DeRozan but he literally lost us the game. Just cool him off and bench, him. Why wont he just bench him when he is playing badly?

Re: PG: derozan will never learn
OG has played 0 fourth quarter minutes in 4 games. I repeat ZERO minutes.
Had to check the stats multiple times thinking surely I must be wrong. Nope. Casey and his legendary feel for the game.
What does OG have to do? Playing great on both ends every game. One of our best defenders. Playing smart and composed and still not rewarded by Casey.

This loss is completely on Derozan and Casey, after amazing regular season they went right back to their old habits and flaws.
10/29 & 1/4.. jesus f christ, DD made half the team shots alone! Last 5min of the game was purely DD ISO, no other plays what so ever :S

How anyone can still think Casey is a great coach or a difference maker is beond me.
Don't care about regular season games or how hard he gets the guys to play or the trust he places in them.
The crowd was dead all game. Up 12 in the 3rd quarter and this fool doesn't call a timeout until only up 2. The crowd finally gets into the game. Wizards had all the momentum and confidence. Knew the game was lost right there.

So nurse shares no responsibility for what happened..but gets all the glory if they played like they did in game 1. Hilarious.
Take a deep breath and relax

4 guys that can’t shoot lmao. Good luck scoring.

Everyone shares some blame, not just Casey, but they have different job descriptions. Nurse isn't responsible for in-game management or at least he shouldn't be. If you want Nurse to shoulder on more blame and responsibility, he'd have to be head coach. I think it's the HC's job to drill in discipline and accountability. Nurse is just there to teach players the offense, while Casey should be enforcing it.

Hey man its nothint new, casey can not adjust in game. He always sticks to what he knows and takes about 48 hours to make any adjustments. The reason why this team will never be a contender
