Mahmoud was on the Zamalek roster for the 2021 BAL season and helped his team win the first-ever BAL championship.

He led the team in steals and blocks and was named the BAL Defensive Player of the Year at the end of the season. In the same 2020–21 season, Mahmoud won his second Super League title and was named the MVP of the competition for the first time.

Don't know how reliable but:

According to this article: https://www.nkytribune.com/2017/12/louisvilles-mahmoud-spaulding-look-forward-to-some-fun-when-cards-meet-cats-at-rupp-friday/ he's 7 ft. tall with a 7" 6" wingspan, so he fits the Raptors preferred body type.

lol ya lets lose 2 of the teams top leaders in 3 days. clueless.

FVV isnt going anywhere.

Can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.

Yall really do be getting emotional about these guys. I love me some Freddy but this isn't Curry we're talking about here. He's a 3+D PG that's not a great playmaker and shoots sub 40% from the floor.

Wake up.

No one getting emotional. But if you paid attention, you'd realize FVV is the now the team leader, about to enter his prime, and will be leaned on more than ever with masai's youth movement. And again, we arent losing our top 2 leaders in a matter of days, that's just foolish.

Then this team will continue to lose for the duration of his contract and will leave at his first opportunity.

I hope you enjoyed the Lowry crapshow

On the lowest of keys, our bench is STACKED

Flynn, Yuta, Scottie, Boucher, Precious

Wouldn’t call this “stacked” at all. Barely getting by maybe?

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Had no idea who he was until today, but reading his scouting report, he sounds like a solid player. Nice sneaky signing by the Spurs if he ends up being an effective player for them.

I'd bet on Precious starting. Ton of upside and good enough to start now after last season when he got minutes.

Not crazy about Yuta. I'd expect Dekker to get minutes over him. And I'd put Barnes in a guard position to keep developing those skills. It will only serve him better as a player.

FVV/Flynn
Trent/Barnes
OG/Dekker
Siakam/Boucher
Precious/Birch?

Idk man, that’s a solid bench.

All 5 can defend at an above average level and push the pace for transition points

Birch nothing special. Achiuwa is 22 with loads of upside. If you're going to develop him, next year is the time to do it.

Daniel Hackett posted a interesting trade. We are t going to want to take back more money in Burke. We aren’t going to want another C in WCS and he doesn’t provide any value to the deal. To take Powell requires sweetener.

Dwight Powell + Josh Green + Tyrell Terry

For

Goran Dragic

This makes sense to me. It’s the compensation required to remove a year off Powell’s deal.

Fred / Flynn / Terry
Trent Jr / Barnes
OG / Green
Siakam / Boucher
Powell / Precious

Not ideal but getting Green & Terry would be a decent get IMO

I agree but we’ll see. Nurse usually likes his rookies to earn the playing time. I can see Barnes and Precious potentially starting later in the season.

Not ideal doing a lot of heavy lifting there lol. But I'd take it over just keeping Dragic.

Tyrell Terry and Josh Green are good prospects. Green could take Bembry and/or Watson's roster spot(s).

Return to Toronto Raptors
