That logic doesn’t make sense. Perennially bad teams have to do that because they have no other talent. And that’s why they’re bad.

This team isn’t lackin talent. It’s misusing the talent it has. Scottie has the best playmaking potential on this team and eventually that is his projected role. It makes more sense to try to develop it ASAP instead of using him as a screen setter and rebounder. What good does that do him or the team? Doesn’t it make more sense to get his reps in… and going forward the team will be better for it. Again it doesn’t have to be all the time. B it he should be used like draymond. Use him at the top of the key or in a post up and set screens for fvv or Trent where he can find them. These are set plays.

Nurse not taking advantage of his skillset in this why is perplexing.

You are being inconsistent here.

If you want to say we have to use our talent better and run a few different plays for Scottie to use his talent better that I can certainly live with. And if we want to slowly but progressively increase it over the course of the year. Full thumbs up from me.

If you are saying we need to run players off the team right now (which you said you wanted to do in your first post) in order to force a much higher level of usage to Scottie that he is not ready for... that is a problem to me.

Amazing Pascal looks incredible. He's so much better playing at the 4. People are really underestimating how important it is for us to have both our centers playing. We look so much better with them. Small ball just doesn't work
