At 9-12 where do you stand?

Tank World Order: Hope the team continues its downward trajectory so that they can add another top lottery pick talent to the core of Barnes and OG?

Still waiting for that "data."

At this point you probably realize you have no data. You've been searching and you don't like what you see so what you'll do is wait until the next loss to come storming onto the board again with your bad takes that you refuse to defend. It's like clockwork.

theres a thing called google, use that big brain of yours, its pretty easy.

What?

This is seriously incredible. Once again, you cannot back up your claims. Zero "data." You don't see anything wrong with intentionally posting things that are not true? You don't think people will challenge you on it?

Here you go dunce cap. Keep making up your fake facts and fake news. The only teams ahead of the Raptors in the Eastern Conference that have fewer man games missed are Hornets and Celtics.

Cumulative Injured List By Team. Second column is players injured and third column is games missed. Orlando leads the way with 139

Orlando Magic 10 139
Los Angeles Clippers 8 108
Los Angeles Lakers 10 107
Milwaukee Bucks 11 103
Denver Nuggets 11 91
New Orleans Pelicans 8 79
Miami Heat 10 77
Golden State Warriors 9 74
Cleveland Cavaliers 11 72
Philadelphia 76ers 11 71
Washington Wizards 12 70
Indiana Pacers 10 68
Brooklyn Nets 8 67
Phoenix Suns 8 66
Atlanta Hawks 8 65
Chicago Bulls 10 65
Toronto Raptors 10 64

It was literally a perfect tank night. I don't understand the complaining about FVV's heroics. Like, you want the team to lose games but nothing should go wrong? I'd rather have FVV fail in those clutch moments than give that burden to Barnes and see him struggle.

It was a fun night. I'm on team neutral and enjoying both the wins and losses.

Pretty much my stance. But I would like a direction chosen by trade deadline. Meaning if they want to push for the play-in, then they should do the Turner trade (or some C). If they choose the Lotto then they should trade dragic, Boucher and maybe Flynn.

Lol. The guy is knocking on the door to be an all-star this year.. And he's the reason? Ok that makes sense...

Oh stop lol. I'm neutral on "tanking", but this is just false and you trying to defend FVV. I don't think most Raptor fans believe he deserves to be an all star. I know for a fact he wouldn't get my vote.

After having my day ruined by the Covid news to this game, the outcome salvaged my night. Hope none of our players catches it from the nets.

I hope FVV is voted all star.

So we can trade him for a high return.

I've come to the conclusion I'll never understand the divide between those that are pro tank vs Anti tank.
We all want the same thing and we all have no say in who or how we go about it. We're all just watching as "Fans", so just enjoy the ride. But you'd be a fooking daft fan to not realize we need another legit prospect next to Scottie to build for the next era of Raptors basketball.

Scottie is a legit prospect to build around, or surround if we find "that" guy.

You know the reading comprehension here leaves much to be desired. See operative phrase "knocking on the door". Do you understand what I am trying to say?

And I have heard many a media personel discuss the fact that he's close to playing to an all star level this year (will Lou wass discussing this yesterday) but yeah real gm knows more. Lol

Oh I'm more than aware you said "knocking on the door". But no one other than this fan base will believe you. So feel free to carry on. I'd bet if they put FVV name on a ballot he won't get the same votes Canada usually gives out (see DeMar/Lowry)

Putting up raw stats doesn’t doesn’t mean a thing when the team has a losing record. Especially when you’re playing alongside other players who are putting up solid numbers too. Don’t let the raw stats fool you. He’s not an all Star

So everyone else is wrong on fvv except for..... Real gm? Do you understand why nurse only rested him for 9 minutes today? I guess nurse is an idiot? What do you want to see from him then? Do you think Lowry would do a better job? Because he was on our team last year and we still weren't very good.

Plenty of NBA analysts and players have praised fvv for his game who are neutral. KD and Perkins come to mind. He is most definitely in the conversation.

I wouldn't know how all star voting would go for him I'm making my point based purely on performance not how popular he is. If I cite his stats according to the gurus on Here they are empty. So what are you basing this on? The Raptors record? Why is fvv not good?

It's also different that there's enough data that a FA that would make more than the MLE would not sign in Toronto, thus attaining an allstar or better has to be done through the draft or trade.

I mean if Barnes was like 6'1-6'6 guard would be able to take the ball up the court more. Also if the Raptors were bottom 5 bad (like the Pistons) and he wasn't a rookie would be able to take the reins and run with it more easily.

I've been following AJ Green for a few years. He missed a lot of time due to an injury but he's back and scoring again. He plays well vs high majors and power conferences as well.

He's probably going to stay until his senior year so not this next draft, I also don't think he'll get drafted in 2023. Maybe 2nd. He might become one of our undrafted projects :D (I hope).

https://www.mangameslost.com/category/nba/

Way to start with an insult and way to show me facts that I KNEW you'd show me. I literally predicted this. Showing man games is an extremely flawed argument. For example, Golden State hasn't had Klay for two years and him being out is counting towards man games lost. Meanwhile Golden State has had the same starting lineup in nearly every game this season and their starting 5 has played among the most minutes together all year. Not to mention, that man games doesn't take into consideration WHO is missing those games. Do you think Sacramento being without Alex Len is more of a loss than us being without OG? What about Rui Hachimura missing games all year compared to us being without Pascal? Rui Hachimura is a bad basketball player and yet he has counted towards 30 missed games for Washington. Do you think Washington is worse off missing Rui Hachimura than we are missing Pascal? Are you starting to see how flawed your argument is now?

Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, LAC, Brooklyn, Cleveland, Golden State, Phoenix, Milwaukee and Washington have all had their starting lineup together for more minutes than Toronto has. Toronto ranks at or near the bottom in this statistic.

You don't know what you're talking about. What injuries has Atlanta had? Trae, Collins and Capela have played in every single game this year. Huerter has missed one game, Bogdanovich has missed 7 games. Gallinari has missed 3 games. Their best players have played in every game this season.

What about Chicago? Lonzo and Lavine have played in every single game this year. Derozan has missed 3 games. Vucevic has missed 7 games. Caruso has missed 3 games. Once again, their best players have played in all or nearly all of their games.

What about Phoenix? Paul, Bridges, Crowder, Johnson have played in every game. Booker has missed 6 games and Ayton has missed 8 games. Their starting lineup has played together way more than ours.

Just a complete lack of common sense here. It's just too easy. You just serve up these fastballs right across the plate.

But anyway, I know you won't respond, so I will see you again for our next loss.

The AJ Griffin bandwagon starts here lol

More I watch him, more praying the injury will make him still available when we pick. That combination of size/strength to move people around and the ability to move almost explosively laterally with a refined jumper & bit more work on his handles is gonna make that kid incredibly hard to stop. Pops need to bring his Jr home!
