Yeah, they're right up there for me as well. I was digging on Denver a lot, but Indy just is a ton of fun to watch. It's nice to have a team like that in the league.

Funny you mention Denver because I also love watching them. Jokic is my favourite player. Dude sees the game like Neo in the matrix.

I'm a huge Jokic fan, yeah. He does stuff every game which just has me shaking my head and smiling. There haven't been many of those, and I've watched a lot of basketball for a long time. Dude is amazing.

The head shake and smile…I’m very familiar. And as a guy whose game was built around playmaking, I’m an appreciator.

Nembhard has been such an impactful player for the pacers these playoffs

Chet just looks awful out there again. They really have to consider playing IH more if this continues.

The weakness of the OKC defense is that in collapsing into the paint on every play....the corner 3s should be open. Just like Nurse' achilles heel in owning the paint.

I just looked at nembhards numbers he barely shoots 3s in the regular season and is pretty meh in general. 29% from 3 this year, 35% last year in the regular season. averages 47% from 3 in the playoffs. wtf man it’s crazy.

Wow, espn is absolute garbage. Half time show is 95% commercials and I don’t think that’s an exaggeration

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.

No Obi Toppin bailouts tonight
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Pretty much the same game as game 1. Indy has tried to cut down on the turnovers...by abandoning their offense. No more Toppin/Nesmith drive and passes on close outs. Whatever you get on the 1st/2nd pass is what they're taking. And they still racked up 15 turnovers anyway.

Shot quality down again for the Pacers, with the the safer offense, tough as ever for Hali in the mid-range with the length around leading to turnovers.

Chet and JDub actually made their shots, the team in general making their layups/paint points. The real difference from game 1. Bench without SGA mirroring the Knicks series where they win the +/-.

Game 1 should have been a comfortable 10pt win even with the Pacers good variance. A comfortable 20pt blowout when the good OKC D leads to a 35% 3pt shooting for them. No variance gods tonight.

What Carlisle just said it exactly how the Raos need to be going forward.

"It doesn't matter who gets them(points)"

Shai's consistency truly sets him apart from everyone. 30+ every night. He just needs a couple other guys to show up and its simply wraps.

I find it funny how when Indiana stole G1 people were saying that performance was impossible to repeat, but Caruso and Wiggins scoring 38 points on 77 TS% tonight isn't even brought up.

After jumping out to a 1-0 lead, G2 was always going to be a blowout in OKC's favour unless Indiana played their best game of the season. Pacers are still in good shape and have a chance if they can take at least one of the next two games.

Near the end of the broadcast they put up a graphic of the 2012 Thunder Finals Big 3, comparing the ages to the current OKC big 3. It reminded me of what I think is an interesting discussion.

After the WCF Isiah Thomas was on NBA TV postgame and said this year's Thunder aren't close to the 2012 team with its three HoFers (still playing!), plus Ibaka, Perkins. He added that 2012 team and the Heat team that beat them , were on a different level from this year's team.

I know it's a different era, despite several guys spanning those years. And the CBA affects rosters differently, preventing superteams. Still an interesting discussion to think about how they'd match up on the court.

Oh yah. It's siakam getting the glaze fest. Not the guy Scottie who's not allowed to be criticized on this board...who's never actually accomplished anything in terms of winning games. Who has a cult following that was harassing the wives of other players on social media.

Yah....it's PASCAL that gets all the undeserved glory smh.

I don't remember this kind of scotty cult hype behind any other raptor since Bargnani. Just go look at the scotty thread. The whole thing is aimed at increasing his personal efficiency and stats. It's like scotty fans beg he doesn't take half court heaves at the buzzer.

A whole toxic segment of the fanbase that literally only cares about scotty's stats.....but its a "Pascal glazefest" when Pascal takes his team to the finals.

For the record....there were NO Pascal fans or Fred fans or lowry fans who made 100s of pages of posts trying to figure out how their personal statistics might get better in ways that had nothing to do with winning lol.

I mean....they are literally saying in that thread....scptty shouldn't shoot the ball regardless of anything except for his efficiency numbers. Have you ever seen Pascal fans say "we gotta figure out a way in which Pascal takes less shots"?

The bargnani fanbase was bad. The scotty cult is historically bad. We probably will never see something like it again.

There should be no shame in commenting pascal's accomplishments as a raptor and post raptor. There is a boatload of shame for scotty getting WAY too much undeserved hype. He has done nothing and earned nothing. Pascal has earned everything that comes his way.

It's delusional to use a term like "glazefest" for any player other than Scott Barnes on this board.

It's hilarious because what kind of star who plays on a bottom 10 team in the league has a fanbase who is advocating for him having LESS responsibility for the offense lol. "How can we re-deploy scotty so that he doesn't look so bad?" The **** is hilarious.
