We were down by 13 points to start the 4th quarter of game 7 in the first round against the Pacers. In reality we were lucky as a star-less team to make the Eastern finals.

It's well known that we overachieved.

I think OKC would have something to say about that. The Spurs would, too.

Toronto clearly isn't in that tier, but that said he performed well against those teams this year, with some wins to prove it. I'd put us in the next tier.

Will he get the Lowry quitter treatment?

The Cavs can't be as bad as these games suggest. If that's the case what hope does anyone else have? Especially if OK gets broken up.

Are the Cavs on the list of worst finals teams in recent NBA history? :)

Even with the Cavs trying to go small to space out the defense for LeBron post-up, the Warriors Death Lineup is just too good. They've got too much length and size defensively to switch and zone up then offensively they can just simply attack the Cavs on the offensive glass. Just not enough weapons to counter against the Warriors.

I think he needed proven playoff stars. Irving and Love are none of that. Should have kept Wiggins and went for a David West.

Toronto clearly isn't in that tier, but that said he performed well against those teams this year, with some wins to prove it. I'd put us in the next tier.

Prior to these playoffs and more specifically what I've seen from GS over the last 5 games I would've had tier 1 of the league as GS, SA, CLE. OKC/TOR just slightly out of that grouping, OKC closer to tier 1 than Toronto, though. However, GS is playing at a level that nobody could keep up with right now.

The problem is... you can't put Cle in the same tier as GS if this continues through the series. And as we saw in the ECF, we are not in the same tier as Cle. Granted, we have cap room and are quite likely to improve.

Nonetheless, this series thus far is a huge eye opener.

So what the hell the the US media gonna say now. It seems a lot like our series. Cavs getting their a** whooped by 20 and 30 points. I think Raptors would have done better.
