I don't know if this is the same for everyone here but the disbelief of all this is hitting me in waves.

I'm looking at the clock, is midnight, game day of the NBA Finals, Raptors vs Warriors. I'm still in shock. I'm pinching myself, I dreamed of this day practically my whole life and now that its happening it doesn't feel real.

This is insane. We finally made it to the summit. Lets be the last ones left standing.

Spurs fan here

I know Danny Green hasn’t shot the ball well but I’ve seen him many times go through periods where he shot like **** then get his confidence back and get hot

It both the finals he played in he played very very well. In 2013 he set the finals record for most 3’s during game 5. He played well in all the 2014 finals games as well

Just rewatched the 2 games we played them this year. Siakim and Ibaka should feast in pick n roll situations, they got tons of easy dunks off of them.

Their bigs (not named cousins) are insignificant, our guys should really abuse that.

My one concern is, who is kawhi going to gaurd? He's obviously our best defender but you don't want him chasing steph or Klay off of screens all game. It's a waste to put him on iggy or Draymond (assuming Durant isn't playing)

Unlike most ppl here im not worried about green. He's been in big game situations before so it's not the pressure of being in big games, he just needs to see the ball go in the basket and he'll be fine.

Afraid of Curry and or Klay going crazy from real deep like its God Mode activated in NBA 2K...hope we can shut them down enough from doing crazy things all game.

putting him on draymond isn’t really a waste. Warriors feed off of draymonds energy. If we can keep him quiet it’ll help us. I’d put kawhi on him to ensure he stays pretty quiet and it wouldn’t require quite as much energy on the defensive end as it required for kawhi in the past series, keeping him fresh for being aggressive offensively

In game 1, I think both teams will start cold, raptors will get jittery and miss open looks early in the game. Warriors will make their run between second and third quarter and raptors will need to demonstrate their resiliency, ability to adapt and counter punch and stay calm throughout this ball game.

Iguodala will play great defence on Kawhi and Thompson will come double team him hard. Others need to be ready to make open looks and get back on D after misses.

I look for Ibaka and Gasol to dominate with their size and they both need to stay out of foul trouble. I trust that Lowry will deliver a great performance on the defensive end but still don’t trust his shooting in game 1.

It will be a tight one and I’m leaning towards Warriors 108 Raptors 112. Im hoping that Freddy stays hot, Green resurrects from his shooting slump and Siakam to have a break out game.

Let’s FN go.

Kawhi is going to get his chance on everyone because of switch action but I think he should start on Dray because he initiates the offense and so he can be more of a free safety because Dray shoots like chit

What would it take for us to be able to sign both kawhi and kd.

I think some players at the Warriors will play dirty and try to injure Kawhi/Siakam. The incident will probably not happen in our home court, because that player will not be able to leave the arena and the fans will eat him alive.

And for that reason I don't want to put Kawhi on Draymond Green..too risky. Green cost us JV in the regular season

Real concern with Draymond out there IMO

He swiped as hard as possibly could at JV's hands / ball, and he did some real damage to a massive 7 foot man.
