ESPN should have known better to let the non-biased guys lead a Raps segment
Just curious, how do you catch ESPN feed here in Canada?

I would look to flip Robinson in a three team deal.
I don't think so. I think they'll give Herro if we stick to our guns man.
Don't want Robinson. There actually isn't as big a market for him as it looks and if we're going to pay someone $20M per this offseason, we'd be much better off giving that money to Norm.
Herro would be moved in a deal for a guy like Beal, not Lowry.

Herro has shot a 42% fg% his first 2 years and is shooting 31% from 3 this year. For a guy who is considered a shooter this isn't impressive.
I want him in the lowry trade but to say it would take someone like beal to get herro is crazy.
Herro fits a position of need, hes young and has a cheap contract next year so it doesn't mess up our cap room
For the heat, assuming they're trying to win it all when butler is still young, have norm who is playing better than herro this year and add lowry who is much better than dragic. If heat want to go all in this year and trading herro to add to better guys to help you win a chip then Miami should do it

Agreed. The issue is we've only heard of a Miami deal involving Lowry, not Norm. I strongly believe that if Norm was on the table to Miami, Riley would concede Herro.

Would prefer Norm goes elsewhere for a protected first.
Not a huge fan of Precious and they don’t have picks.

We should try and trade them in separate trades. We would get a lot more back then packaging them together.

I keep hearing people say this but I don't see how this adds up in real life.
Unless NOLA is willing to give up Ball for Powell straight up, then I can't see a realistic return for Norm better than packaging them together. Contenders are going to be trading for Norm which means that the highest pick you're going to get between 16-30 and expiring salary.
Why would anyone want that over a proven NBA talent?

That's an extra pick. All we get from Miami is guaranteeing Herro comes here. I'm still confident we can get Herro with out adding Norm.

I'm not at all. The risk is too great holding out and waiting. What happens when Miami pivots to Houston for a Dipo package? Then we're stuck with our dicks in our hands.
I would just add Norm, which guarantees Herro comes over and seek extra compensation on top of that. Probably a future first or Nunn.

I hope this gets done tonight. So they can focus on moving Powell quickly before someone trades for Oladipo.
Even if he's not that great (just an average of his 1st 2 seasons) the next 2 years, then his 2nd contract won't be in the $20 millions.
