scottie needs to fight for position more in the post, especially vs smaller players. he would get the ball more that way. its concerning sometimes how passive he is.

I have never been a fan of the player option. It is a no win proposition that you only agree to if you have no choice. And since Trent was an RFA I thought there was flexibility.

I would rather have paid him $20 or $21 million instead of $18 million and taken away that player that option. I suppose management was concerned about lux tax implications -- but I don't know.
