They look bigger than they are against Boston, like every team does. Bam would obviously matchup against Giannis, which is the big hope at slowing the Bucks machine. But They'd have issues against Lopez and pretty much any non-Butler matchups in terms of size.

Boston just has a massive issue with size. They just don't have adequate answers at C and even PF.

Yeah, and players being out sometimes helps a team focus their effort. Players on minutes restrictions seem to often throw teams off too. It’s all a bunch of noise. Reggie now says Bucks and Raps are clear cut favourites. That’s why he’s an idiot. So reactionary.

Saying the top 2 seeds are the favourites isn't a hot take though

Well clear-cut favourite is a bit much. But it is more that before going into the bubble he probably had a very different opinion. Then the Raps become the flavour of the week. Let’s say the Raps lost yesterday by 2. He’s not saying it’s clear cut anymore for sure. Probably hyping the Heat as the only challengers to the Bucks. All based on a couple bounces either way over a few games between rusty teams.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

If Celtics werent a legendary franchise, people would ask more questions like "what has Brad Stevens actually won?"

I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Ballmer and Uncle Dennis worked out a deal under the table worth over $100m......Ballmer has made billions during this pandemic alone...he has a lot of money to blow.

Obviously a global pandemic dragging on for years has few positives, but the season being in a bubble in Florida multiple years does take Canadian taxes and weather out of the equation.

With the JJJ news, Blazers and Spurs doing the Birdman handrub. Pause.

I ain't including the Pelicans because they have squandered their opportunity already.

since the raptors became a franchise, the celtics and raptors have the same number of championships. most of theirs was when the league was all white and playing with a peach basket lol.

Blazers would probably give Lakers the best run for their money, especially with Nurkic and Collins back

As an nba fan I really want to see blazers vs Lakers

But as a raptor fan I don't want Memphis dropping out of the playoffs and giving the celtics a lottery pick

Modern day Celtics fans are like Leafs fans, except they have one more championship to speak for.

NHL teams are apparently using the Raptors dressing room in the Toronto hub.

from a "screen"/TV viewing experience (NBA Only), one thing I can confirm: Having fans in the stand is totally overrated and unnecessary..I would be just fine with those virtual fans.

Different story for soccer and NFL.

Anige is a good GM but, from the outside looking in I feel like they wasted so many opportunities holding on to their assets. They could have acquired players like PG, Butler, Kawhi, and AD. Even if some players said they wouldn’t re-sign, I don’t think they’ll pass up playing with Kyrie (who players love), the winning, and playing for the Celtics. You get one of Kyrie’s boys and I think he stays as well.

Masai has done far more with a lot less. If you give Masai those assets, he wins more than 1 championship.

'm actually kind of digging the timings for matches, I think NBA should consider this kind of timings for regular season games for the new season on Saturdays/Sundays, it will be more fun..basically we get to watch NBA from afternoon onwards during weekends.

from the matches so far, wizards don't deserve any media attention, Phoenix is getting it right finally, fun team to watch, we getting to see games of teams that we normally won't get to watch.

We're going to need a game thread. I know it's Orlando and all, but still.
