Jarrett Allen would be the perfect deal for us.

Ayton I'm iffy about but would lean towards no given a much higher salary than OG.

Gobert is an easy no to me.

So much no. Especially at the cost of OG.

so much yes.

Which part of anything is he better at other than rim protection. He doesn't even defend man on man vs Cs better in all likelihood. Its a horrible trade suggestion.

And how in the world is Allen better than Ayton.

You should have at least checked the numbers, they aren't even close. How do you come even to the conclusion that OG can hold Allen's jockstrap against Cs? It's completely illogical.

And yes, an Allstar is usually better than a non Allstar.

This still seems to be a klutch push since they are all over the blazers organization.

What isn't close? Allen doesn't spread the floor, OG is a better all around shooter at a higher usage, OG can dribble the ball, OG is a better passer, OG steals, deflects and blocks more than Allen blocks and steals, OG defends 1-5 and is a better defender and gets the toughest assignments. Allen defends 5 to 5 and takes up space in the lane. In what world do you think would Ujiri trade OG for Allen.

And how in the world is he better than Ayton. Because he plays in the East?

Wow, I mean, I know people often hear what they want to hear, but that Blazers media guy is really stretching things. Not sure how that's his takeaway from what Tolzman said.

I believe there's someone in the draft who the FO really, really likes.

We're nearly 4 years removed from the last MU fleece special; its overdue.

Two ways of reading into that:

1) Take it at face value. End of story. OG isn't unhappy and he isn't going to be traded. Period. Full stop.

2) This is how we maintain leverage and talk up the value of a trade asset.

Wouldn't blame anyone for reading into this in either way mentioned above because our front office leaks nothing and keeps all things professional. Masai, Bobby et al. are airing nobody's dirty laundry in public and won't publically discuss trade talks so even if they are talking trade...they will never allude to it to the media.

I think the raps don’t mind trading og. I think the only untouchable player is Barnes. I do think they wouldn’t move og for anything less than a clear overpay, which means a deal likely won’t happen.

Who knows this. Portland might wow us yet. Or the kings might come calling with the 4th pick and the raps might think Ivey has superstar potential

Even William Lou noted that the Raptors editing crew chose to keep that clip - which occurred AFTER the media availability was over - in the final version posted to youtube.

So yes, my immediate takeaway upon hearing it was that Raps could very well be engaged in public negotiating. Hart or Nurkic (on the S&T) + #7 or no deal!

I mean, I don't want to trade OG, but this is an agent-driven league. Might as well get the most we can.

This is a horrible trade idea. Justin holiday is unvaccinated and can't play here.

I wouldn't do that for anyone that would work financially.

S&T Boucher? Danny Green and #23. Assuming that insurance will cover Green's salary.

Holiday is just expiring salary filler. Maybe make a 3-way sending Holiday with Svi as expiring contracts for something?

They would have to include at least Harrison Barnes for this to even be a discussion. the raptors aren't trying to take a step back next season.
