Trent's been grinding after hours with Rico. And his trade value is trash, per Grange. Nurse doesn't like him but Nurse might also be on the way out, so that factors in.

Fred has had enough and is making a full court press for his bag right now. Masai can get value for him.

I'm not buying that Klutch would let LeBron's dear friend James Jones get caught in a fake leak bidding war for OG. They're more likely going to steer Fred there and maybe rope the Lakers in. I personally like Ayton, but I know he's controversial. Some Raptors people like Ayton, I guess some don't. Fred for Cam Johnson + Crowder + picks (the OG offer) makes sense for both teams provided there's a wink wink deal for the re-up.

OG just goes to the highest bidder. Thanks for that one three, the random scuffles, correctly labelling Markieff Morris a b****, and some awkward laughs.

Ya thats GTJ price, not OG

He would bring in more than that.

I mean a good prospect and a top 10 pick.

If he brings in more, hot damn.

10th pick maybe. And Daniels is ok. It's incredibly milk toast. At least another first is what I would want. I don't understand why they would want to move Daniels though if trying to improve their defense.

Sad day to be a Raptor fan ....Always loved OG and his personality....Tbh wouldn't mind just getting rid of all players connected to Klutch....They rub me the wrong way and always want their players in the most talked about teams in the media....

Kind of doing a good job then as an agency?

Could say that....But Klutch seems to be more interested in the glamour of the destination rather than anything else....They want all their clients to play on American teams as well....Notice how when our players started to sign with them...They had more rumors and toxic chatter around them like wanting out...

Joe has been healthy this season, but production has declined. Still a >40% 3pt shooter though.

Nets best (maximum) offer here would be Joe Harris, Cam Thomas, 2027 Philly top 8 protected first, Nets 2028 unprotected/lightly protected 1st, and Nets 2029 1st round (unprotected/lightly protected) swap. Not saying Nets would offer that, but that's the most they can realistically offer, there are no more firsts/swaps to offer. Nets do have 2nd round picks but I'm not sure if that would be a difference maker.

Raps arent willing to wait that long for picks. There's just honestly no way the Nets will have the best offer for OG

So Ogugua wants out? I still kind of find that hard to believe, he's one of the last dudes I'd expect to ask for a trade.

Nets are not a very good trade partner to facilitate a deal that is requesting young players to rebuild with.

It would start with Claxton and those picks are 2 far out. Scottie would be in his prime by then.

OG is way better than Daniels currently is on defense and he hits 3s + hard to stop in the paint. Daniels is a good defender but really weak. You can't play him in the playoffs and expect good things to happen. Not the same as someone like Zaire Williams in Memphis who will just always be weak and injury prone. If Masai comes away with Daniels I won't really care about the extras, but I also wonder if New Orleans is actually serious or just being used. They stink right now.

Just cause he’s an introvert doesn’t mean he doesn’t have preferences and gets along with anything and anyone

I don't think the first point matters as much ("unwilling to wait that long for picks"; picks are always a valuable tradeable asset, especially distant ones).

As for the second, I don't think the Nets are even making an offer for OG, but I just wanted to respond to show what it might look like, hypothetically. I also don't think any team is giving up lightly protected or unprotected distant future 1st round picks for OG Anunoby, those are reserved for all star caliber players, and it's extremely dangerous to give that up for OG.

I wouldn't trade Claxton for OG straight up, if that was on the table.

Yep, agree that might be the best return. And then if Fred is on the move, pick up another young player and picks (someone like Mann from the Clippers, although he isn't exactly "young" anymore), then use one of the lottery picks on a decent ballhandler, re-sign Gary, and the backcourt depth is starting to look a lot better with something like Trent, Daniels, Mann, lotto pick, etc.

OG will get a haul if he's moved, there's no doubt in my mind about this. He's the best trade asset in a season where at least a dozen teams think they have a shot at a title, and he fits literally every squad and the salary you have to trade for him is relatively small (around 12 mill).

You can think what you want about him, but it's not Raps fans saying this, the national media has been beating this drum for weeks.

I didn't say OG won't get you a haul, so there's no need to debate this. My point was strictly about distant future unprotected or lightly protected picks. A team giving up draft control 5-6 years into the future for OG Anunoby is suicidal.
