Fleming not invited to green room. Raps need to trade into early to mid 20s and get him. Be aggressive on draft day.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Discussion Part 9
Who is going to be the last player left waiting in the green room?
Given that list of players, I expect one of Liam McNeeley, Will Riley, Nique Clifford, or Walter Clayton Jr to be the last player selected and wouldn't be surprised if he isn't even picked in the first round and has to wait until day 2 (second round) to hear their name called.
Raptors record prediction: 45-37 (6th place in the East)

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Discussion Part 9
Bobby said they've narrowed their list down to 5 prospects at the #9 pick. Who do you think they are?
My best guess... it's Khaman Maluach, Noa Essengue, Carter Bryant, and two of Asa Newell, Thomas Sorber and Joan Beringer.

I don't even think when Bobby said 5 that he's including Maluach tbh....not because they don't want him, I think he's the run away favorite if he's there. But there's just too much smoke between 3-8 with VERY strong reported interest from multiple teams (PHI, CHA, WAS, BKN...now there's even talk of Utah being intrigued). That there's just an incredibly low chance that he's still gonna be there which I also think is playing a substantial part in their reported interest to use it in a trade and/or trade back.
But should we stay at 9 with what should be imo the assumption that Maluach is gone...I think it's
Queen, Noa, Bryant, Coward or Jak
All smart players in their own ways, all guys who obviously need to improve in one capacity or another but all of them are not only talented but should have no issues fitting into Darko's offence. I thought about CMB and I do think they'd like him as a player but I think they'll see the obvious limitation with adding a smaller forward that cant shoot in combination with Scottie & Yak.

I’d say
Maluach
Essengue
Bryant
Coward
Jakucionis
Guys I didn’t include because they probably go higher
Knueppel
Fears
… and then the obvious ones.

No bigs when they've publicly stated they want/need one, I doubt that.

Guarantee CMB is on our list of 5

That’s true. CMB has to be on the list. I didn’t include him in mine but I think I’d have to remove either Bryant or Jak for him. And according to Jerry Lucas I’d most likely have to remove Bryant, which makes me sad.

Based on yesterday's ESPN mock I'd say it's Maluach, Bryant, Jakucionis, Essengue, Queen given that all of Flagg, Harper, Edgecombe, Bailey, Johnson, Knueppel, and Fears should be off board.
Default pick is Maluach, if he's already off board Queen would be the centre option, Jakucionis the guard option, Essengue the PF option, and Bryant the SF option. ESPN has us taking Essengue at the moment which I can see as he's a Masai type player in terms of physicals. I do think there's a strong chance this pick gets traded though, which could mean a weird player taken at 9 for a later trade.

Yah, assuming Maluach is gone I think the 5 are
CMB, Essengue, Demin, Bryant, and then a wildcard. I'd guess any three of Traore/Theiro/Gonzalez.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Discussion Part 9
Carter Bryant is who I want the raptors to draft but assuming KM is off the board Ive got a feeling they draft CMB just because they always seem to go off everyone's board.
Ive always come around on most of their draft picks so im kind of ready for who ever they draft.
Surprised Fleming seems to be dropping out of the lottery, he was my second choice at 9

Seems like wishful thinking. It's not always about work ethic, some players just don't have it
