Too bad all ultras are total ****.

too bad noone cares about your opinion

And yet it's amusing to see ultra (or perhaps just the ultra idea supporter) that knows a foreign language. Also why reply to my post, if you don't care about what I posted?

Yes, it's better to shout "**** you referee in kaunas and Vilnius" with green death and sekla crew. Of couse they hate ultras, because they have Russian mentality left, old and useless understanding of what support should be and sound like.

RPzB, because your post had nothing to do with this thread.

Not really. Most of his TO are offensive fouls and the bad passing across the court out of double teams. He catches the ball usually well even when the pass is atrocious.

His hands were always overrated. He cant catch low passes at all.

And look at his latest games. Most of his TOs were not offensive fouls or a bad pass.

Most big men are better at catching high passes then low passes.... you know cuz they are tall.

Huh, I didn't even notice the zealot in the bottom left. That scale on that seems little off.

That Zealot's got some balls.

Starcraft game models aren't to scale. Otherwise you wouldn't fit an ultra or Battleship on the computer screen. Or all ground units would be little dots.

Hello. I was reading Raptors fans expectations about Valančiūnas for a while and surely noticed good expectations. However, I found it strange that only few connects Valančiūnas' success with point guards that he will have to play with. I was following Raptors games (mainly because of Kleiza) and I can surely say that you have a problem if your first or even second PG is such as Bayless. That's terrible. That might be even more terrible than Rytas' Rice. So if you have hight expectations about Jonas, don't even think to trade Calderon. The guy can play pick and rolls and if Jonas can do big things in the first season of NBA p&r is exactly his strongest card and deadly weapon. Obviously Valančiūnas won't be 100% physically ready for the NBA in the first season, so I wouldn't expect too much if JV won't have the guy who is a real point guard as Calderon. I would say even more- save Calderon and add another well passing PG.

And another thing. IMO, poor passing is one of the main current Raptors' problems. Without Calderon Raptors reminds NCAA team at best. Add world class passers to the puzzle. IMO, NBA teams tend to underrate this thing which is the key in basketball. That's why Lithuanian NT is always so successful, despite the fact there's only few (if any) NBA players.

Jonas Valanciunas :D
On a serious note, we don't have any world class passers besides Jasikevicius. At least for the next decade, pg spot should be the weakest link on our NT.

Šiškauskas was a world class passer, but retired from NT in 2008. With Šaras they were the brains of Lithuanian NT. But the thing is that basically most of Lithuanian NT players are solid passers and are extremely unselfish.

I know it's different styles and cultures of BB, but for my eyes it's way too many wasted open looks in Raptors. If Bargs, Kleiza, Barbosa would get the ball in the right moment and would share the ball better, they would be better team.

I found this half an hour TV special on JV that was posted on youtube today. It's mostly in lithuanian, so could somebody explain what's going on in this video and what's being said about him.

Some of the video is about the early stages in his career. Maybe the Raptors TV special on JV next week is just a translated version of this one. That would be hilarious. :D

100% agree that Jonas needs a pass first pg like a Calderon or Nash. That is one of the reasons why I wouldn't mind keeping Jose next year.
