Thought for sure he was going to take over McLemore's spot as the starting guard, but then McLemore started playing better.

yea weird drafting choice, i guess Stauskas was BPA at #8? but malone should develop stauskas instead of playing casspi for long term growth

Jimmy Butler is the only glimmer of hope that Chicago has Rose will be lucky to play 50% of his games Gasol & Noah will miss 20+. The drain duo ( Mirotic & McDermott ) look more like the flush duo. Taj is Amir with Hienrich & Dunleavy solid vets but should be playing 15 to 20 minutes a game .Aaron Brooks a chucker and Snell just bad.

They have Butler, Taj and Thibs period.

I think Dario Saric was the BPA at #8, then he scared everyone away by signing that long term deal overseas. Kind of disappointed that Stauskas didn't go to Philly, he would have had the ball in his hands all the time and might have been in the running for ROY.

I was honestly thinking Derozan for Butler a couple of years back, I don't think I'd do it though... Butler is likely to get a Max and we still have Derozan on a nice deal for some time. If I were to trade Derozan, it would be for an all star big man PF.

He said it after the Suns' 88-86 victory over the Pistons at the Palace when Caldwell-Pope missed a triple in the closing seconds that would have probably won it.

"Caldwell-Pope got it and you know he doesn't have any heart, so we knew he was going to miss," Morris said.

Van Gundy wasn't going to let such an insult slide.

"I'm not quite sure - maybe he knows - I'm not quite sure what Markieff Morris has accomplished in the league that gets him to the point of mouthing off," Van Gundy said after today's practice. "I mean, I don't like the mouthing off anyway.

"It seems to me you should at least participate in a playoff game before you do. But maybe not, maybe that's not the standard anymore."

^That's awesome. The Pistons with SVG remind me of the Raptors when Sam Mitchell was the toughest guy on the team.

I think the Wiz beat the Cavs pretty good tonight, they seem like a horrible matchup for them. Wall is way too fast for Irving who is a crap defender and will get to the rim at will. The Wiz will also beat them up inside. Cavs only shot is to shoot the lights out.

Not sure if it's the proble, maybe he is not working hard or thinking properly on defence. And just a case of tough love that is done with many rookies.

Remember he coming from a system at Michigan that focuses heavily on offence but is limited defensively.

"Some time" = next season. FYI.

Just saw Kevin Martin has a fractured wrist, it said the injury happened half way into the 1st quarter against the Knicks. So he scored 37 against NY playing almost the entire game with a broken wrist.... Crazy
