No. Scoot seems to have that 2 spot on lockdown. His potential as a game changing lead guard and showing against g-league competition is elite.

Brandon Miller probably in the 3-6 range.
Yeah, no shot anyone passes Scoot at 2. Scoot is doing what he's doing against men, while everyone behind him is doing it against boys.

Yep. Scoot is doing this in the second best league in the world. No chance anyone leap frogs him unless he sustains a catastrophic injury

I am not so sure that the G League is better than the ACB.

It might be on par with the NBL.

The league is just semantics. Scoot is playing against a lot of guys who were the best player on their college teams, versus the other kids who are playing all college kids.

I don't think he gets enough credit for his footwork and reading of the game. He's just a level ahead mentally of the typical Big 10 bigs like Dickinson, Cockburn and guys like that. People act like only guards get more space in the pros than college, but if Edey ends up on a team with skilled perimeter guys, he'll get the ball in spots where you can't defend him.

Defensively, I have no idea, but he's huge and he gives a damn. Michigan hasn't played Purdue yet so I'll take a closer look then.

I think the success of the Kessler pick will help him. He got played off the floor in the tourney after posting incredible advanced stats and Edey's are even better. So I think he'll sneak in the late first. High character dude who sounds very coachable, and even if he can't stay on the floor against Dallas or is a 15 minute guy in certain matchups, that's pretty normal for a center who makes 15-20M like Valanciaunas or Steven Adams and if you can get that sort of player for 4M a year, that's 10-15M in surplus value, and therefore a good pick once you get to #25 or so.

People love to project the draft, but if the best player in college basketball is over 6'1, he can only slip so far. And I don't mean best player like winning the Naismith, I mean advanced stats indicating he's the most impactful player in the country.

Agree on Dickinson part, he defended him well last season, will be a key matchup to watch.

Below is a PER list, not the best stat but still useful. Excluding non power 5 conference, all are in NBA. Tshiebwe still in college. Garza was a senior and honestly not big enough and slow feet. Taking Edey is a high reward, low risk bet. Hard to say where he goes but 1 or 2 teams will reach due to his uniqueness.

Like what I see from Hood-Schifino, good size, quick shot release. Not sure about offhand

Looking over the prospects, this dudes stat lines pop out. He's also 6'7 with close to a 7ft wingspan.

Maxwell Lewis: 31.3 MIN, 19.6 PPG with shooting splits of 52/41/83 (.624 TS%)

I'm just asking because of how much hype Miller has been getting recently. I'm still taking Scoot #1 over Wemby.

Similar defender and shooter, but Miller has a much better handle and is a far better playmaker. He's better at basketball. Jabari if the better athlete though.

Jabari is 3&D at the moment. Miller has the potential to be at least a secondary ballhandler/playmaker

30/10 night for Miller tonight. This guy could legit work his way into the Top 3 by the time it's said and done.

Yep, I like him too. He's a value pick outside if he falls outside of the late lottery.

Cool cool.

BTW, Miller is older than Jabari Smith. :reporter: I see him starting his career out like a Keegan Murray who was a 21 year old sophomore when drafted 4th overall.

I like him in the early second round. I think he's a good player but he really needs to cut down the turnovers.

Deep shooter with confidence. Has a nice handle and can playmake a little. Nice seeing him in the PnR as a scorer and passer. Also has a great confidence to his game espeically with the shot making. When he gets older and stronger I see him like a Brandon Roy, Devin Booker type

I like him a lot. After the top 2 and Thompson, i'd consider him as good a prospect as any in this draft and gives us dynamic guard pay we've been missing with this squad.

Important to note he’s done all this against very weak teams. one of the two games he played against a good team, he was quite unimpressive (I watched that game). He played well against Gonzaga but I need to see more from him

And his team is basically already eliminated from getting to the tournament so it’ll be hard to gauge
