hey i don't frequent this thread much so have probably missed discussions about this, but how do you folks feel about the 'different prices for different teams' thing? I get that it's here to stay and that it ties in to new business metrics etc. etc. but it still just feels wrong to me. I preferred when it was a fixed ticket price. Now it feels like the team is acting like scalpers. Which is exactly what they want to do, get the top price at any given moment and have that price float, but if they're going to do that shouldn't there be a flipside where you can buy a ticket for 5 bucks 5 minutes before a game or something? Just seems too greedy this way.

Yeah, they pretty much do scalp their own tickets. It is smart on their part as they maximize profits that way rather than have the scalpers do it. As it was it would still be hard for a regular person to buy regular price tickets for the hot games, scalpers would scoop them all up and make all the profit.

The price doesn't drop that low, but for low-demand games where certain ticket price points are selling poorly, the price will fall below the initial face value. The thing I noticed last year is that such downward pressure often was exerted on the Super Premium and Premium games. The Best Value games tend to sell well, even sell out, for that reason - the price is less than the average per-game price if you were to average all 41 regular season home games.

I got a question, is there a way to find out when bobblehead nights are? If there are any at all?

Looking through my package and they mention commemorative nights here and there and one is a fan night which I assume will have giveaways. But there is usually about 3 games with bobbleheads or figurines. Before I used to know this right away and was able to order tickets to those games in advance. Here I am not sure what is going on.

Where can I get the cheapest tickets for 100 level section for the games?(I understand they aren't cheap but I'm talking about lowest price possible when buying)
I've been on ticketmaster and the Raptor's site but the game on Dec 28th vs the Knicks doesn't seem to be there.

If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it, maybe we can use this thread during the season for other updates and giveaways so our realgm nation is informed?

The cheapest tickets would be via season ticket holders who are selling some games.
They usually sell them at season ticket holder prices, so probably the best deal available.
