1. Davis
2. MKG/ Robinson
3. Robinson/ Drummond
4. Barnes
5. Robinson/MKG
6. Lillard/ Beal/ Drummond
7. PJ3/ Beal
8. Lamb/ Beal
The Warriors would like to upgrade their starting small-forward spot.

Golden State reportedly would like to trade a combination of its four first-round picks for Andre Iguodala, Nicolas Batum, Luol Deng, Rudy Gay, Danny Granger or Josh Smith.

"Having four picks is a tremendous situation to be in, and I think we can do some good things with it," general manager Bob Myers said. "We're excited. We have a tremendous amount of assets, which puts us in good shape to explore a variety of opportunities. It's up to us to make something of it."

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, a 6-foot-7 small forward out of Kentucky, also is coveted by the Warriors.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

JamesNaismith wrote:I'm trying to guess how the draft order now that CLE wants Barnes

1. Davis (NOH)
2. MKG (CHA)
3. Beal (WAS)
4. Barnes (CLE)
5. TRob (SAC)
6. Drummond (POR)
7. Sullinger (hopefully) or Lamb (GSW)
8. Lamb or Rivers

I think if we trade for Gay and retain this pick it wouldn't surprise me if we took Rivers since he would further spread out the court and obviously we're in win-now mode. I still Lamb will/should be the better player when it's all said and done but if we had Rudy; Rivers may be a better "fit" (pains me to say) next to him

I think Charlotte is going to pick Drummond.
And at worst, they can trade their pick for talents.

1. Davis
2. Drummond (trade bait for talent)
3. MKG/Beal
4. Barnes
5. TRob
6. (trade bait to move up for a C)
7. (trade bait to unload Biedrins)

I don't think Sac is taking TRob........Cousins is an anchor at that position and TRob won't be playing any other position. They would take Drummond if it played out that way.

I think it is:

(1) Davis (NOH)
(2) MKG (CHA)
(3) TRob (WSH)
(4) Barnes (CLE)
(5) Drummond (SAC)
(6) Beal (POR)
(7) Perry Jones (GS)
(8) Lamb (Raps)

I could easily see GS taking Lamb but I think PJ is going to work out really well, have insane measurables and fits a significant need for GS.

The Warriors only have two first round picks, four picks in total. And they're second 1st is the last pick in the round, which traditionally has very little value.

Official Raptors 2012 NBA Draft Thread, Part 12

Even though Drummond has tons of potential, I think the Bobcats may want a guy that can change their culture with their hardworking and winning mentality, so MKG and T-Rob are the likely candidates.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

And you should add Barnes to the list because of the relation between Jordan and UNC.

I'm still saying Lillard is our pick and I'll still stand by that

As in your endorsement, the Raptors selection or both?

If we land Nash as BC priority number one yes I could see Lillard picked by us. He would be the perfect understudy and then Bayless walks or is S+T'd. I could also see BC surprise and pick Waiters with Nash in the fold as well. Currently the discussion must be around Lamb, Lillard, PJIII and Waiters. The feeling will be that Lamb must be able to get stronger if he is the pick. I don't see us picking Lillard without there being a Nash in front of of him. PJIII only gets selected if he can prove he can be a small forward and if he can compliments Bargs. Waiters I can see picked at 8 without any red flags what so ever. The players are very good in terms of choice and If we traded this pick it would have to be for nothing less than Granger. A max player would be beyond dumb for us.

As reporter by Le Doug
Stefanski said the Raptors, who also currently have two second-round picks, could bring in somewhere
around 25 players for individual workouts once the Chicago camp is complete.

Those workouts are still being scheduled and could start as early as next week at the Air Canada Centre.

I don't why people think Jordan will be that high on Barnes just because they both went to UNC (and yes I know it's the hometown university) but Jordan has to be sick of losing and hearing what bad decisions he's made...for that reason I think he picks MKG.

Gilchrist is a name he is far less likely to take flack for if he busts because most people project him top 4 and Barnes' stock is actually perceived low despite apparently the Cavs suddenly being high on him but they were the same people taking TT that early and Kyrie is TIGHT with HB.

Jordan will probably love what a fiery competitor MKG is AND he should keep their team low enough in the standings that they will be in the running for Shabazz or Noels next year...

Shabazz/MKG/Biyombo or MKG/Biyombo/Noel core....that's just downright nasty

For what its worth:
In a poll @ OregonLive
"Draft Lillard @ 6th is winning by a decent margin"

If gsw trades their pick for a sf I bet they will take lamb for the team that most likely need a sg. That's not good.

GS in no way needs a SG. Klay Thompson was really good for them last year.

Also heard rumors that the Cavs have inquired about Lillard. Doubt they'll use the 4th on him but still the assets they'd swap to grab Lillard while they have KI is telling.

MKG/Biyombo/Noel sounds like a Dwane Casey wet dream.

If another team offers their SF and wants a SG in return then its possible gs takes lamb and trade him. U get what I'm saying.
