If he sat on the bench all year and played good soldier than sure, but he has not

It was not all his fault though. Nurse screwed up as well. Dragic asked to come from bench but Burse would never call his number. You dont treat a veteran like that.

He came from the bench, and averaged 5/2/1 on 26.7% shooting and then got pulled from the rotation.

Dragic also sucked when he started.

I think people are misinterpreting this. They are referring to the team that ends up getting him

Jake Fischer is legit. Fully expecting us to get Turner and/or Gallo now.

Do we really want to break up the chemistry of the starting five for Turner? Is he willing to come off the bench?

Dragic for Dinwiddie straight up. Wizards commit to tank and buyout Dragic

Boucher and a second rounder for Dante Divincenzo. Promising young guy and we can resign for team friendly deal.

Lotto protected future first for Jalen Smith

Three small trades adds huge amount of real depth without losing any of the core. Jalen was literally a lottery pick like 2 years ago and played well. That first also impowers the Suns to make a bigger trade

We keep our 22 first to add depth through the draft this year.

Edit: actually Jalen is an UFA this year right? Idk about the FRP now…

If we somehow land Dinwiddie and Poetl I'd be stoked.

I don’t get the Dinwiddie love. He can’t shoot. Is super inefficient and is overpaid with term.

I know the bench is terrible but Dinwiddie is a desperation move.

Have a nasty feeling in my stomach that this will all end up with Dragic getting bought out

Trading a 1st round pick for a bench player? If you're trading for Myles Turner he is starting.

next obvious question; who goes to the bench, who sits closing time?

it depends if pacers are happy with getting off turner's salary and getting a FRP

Here's what i put together so far based on intel publicly known:

1. Raps made an offer of Dragic + FRP for Turner.
Pacers are waiting to see if a better offer comes along
If that happens, Barnes comes off the bench as the super-sub.

2. Raps have a backup offer of Dragic for Gallo.

3. Bogdan is not on the table.

and who goes to the bench? Are we worried at all about Turner's previous attitude issues about wanting to be the focal point of the offense?

We're not buying out Dragic, stop falling for bs reports by teams who want us to fail

There are tons of fake BS reports, but I don't think this is one of them. I'm fairly certain that tweet was referring to whichever team ends up acquiring him. That team is going to buy him out. Not the raptors

The Wizards are a dumpster fire and we've seen Spencer play well on the Nets for a large enough sample to know he's a guy worth having on the court. This is him without Beal and from interviews it sounds like Beal disliked him trying to hold people accountable as the new guy as if he should be a leader

Image

If he plays instead of Banton off the bench you guys think we're worse? I see the Myles Turner hype (don't see Indy giving up on him for a first in the high teens and Dragic who won't play but we've seen more lopsided trades this year) but I don't see how we're better moving Barnes to the bench for him especially if we're assuming Barnes will eventually be a star + starter in the years to come.

You can't just look at the raw numbers of players, you have to factor in their current role and what you'd project them to do on your team with the role they'd get here. He was in the 6th man convo in Brooklyn 2 years ago and I think him off the bench allows Fred more time to rest and gives him us a tall ball handler to add to the tall ball lineup off the bench.

13 game sample vs his career numbers. He shoots around 40 from the field and only 31% from 3. That is bad.
