Siakam’s scoring 20.5 on 53 percent and 42 percent from 3, 62% TS. Fantastic second option that was set up to fail here by Masai and made the scapegoat.

Non contact, not even a bad foot plant. He's out for tonight's game so I doubt he's playing here tomorrow.

I think we all knew Siakam was a 2nd or 3rd option at best. Masai turned him into the first after Kawhi's exit.

Norm got snubbed for the ASG, barring injury.

But he's in the 3 point contest.

All well and good, but my criticisms of Pascal were never about offense. In his early years his defence was top notch. He half-assed his defence the last couple of years here.

That answers my Wizards question. He played down to the level of his team.

Playing both every possession is hard. Often guys sacrifice one for the other. When Barnes looks like a menace on defense, his offense often suffers.

Guess that's why lots of defense wings are also 3pt guys...can rest in the corner on offense

masai went deep into convos for durant and lillard but both players chose elsewhere. gave pascal a shot but then recognized the need for a true 1st option but couldn't seal the deal. not too unlike giving scottie a shot but seeing he can't be that guy and bringing in ingram. this time he was able to make the deal b/c ingram actually wanted to come here.

That answers my Wizards question. He played down to the level of his team.

There were some Lithuanian journalists who were visiting JV in Washington a few weeks ago, and that video interview was depressing as hell. It almost made me teary eyed seeing Jonas so miserable and sad. He's not in it just for the money. He loves the game and being competitive. Glad he can now play for an above average team.
