Asa Newell has jumped into my top 5 watching him go against Sarr and France in fiba was interesting I think he was the better player in the game and blew by sarr a couple times would take him as high as 4 if his shot gets better . Measurements would sway me tho his arms look kinda short

Even when demin was beating up on garbage competition he never really look impressive as a driver and seemed slow to me. The real swing skill is his shooting and pull up potential. That's the only thing that could compliment his amazing passing skills. But as of right now he looks horrible shooting 29% from 3 and 67% free throws

He always was since highschool. This guy is a known superstar. Get him and AJ Dybantsa next year and Toronto has a dynasty in the making.

It’s a pipe dream but would be crazy. NBA will never allow it tho lol

It would finally prove that the draft isn't rigged.

This team needs a guy like Cooper Flagg so badly it's not even funny.

He’s a totally different archetype altogether. Not sure why you’re comparing him to those guys.

Tre’s ability to hit tough shots is elite. He can hit a pull up 3 on the fast break with ease, which is an unguardable shot. Plus, he’ll hit shots with the defenders hand in his face.

I’d compare him to Nick Young minus the crazy.

Great off the catch, off-screens, and pullups - just a bucket getter and a solid passer.

Not the most athletic and tends to rely on a tough shot diet.

Superstars is a heavy word - hard to say.

I do believe there will be multiple all-stars drafted in the lottery after Cooper, Ace, and Harper.
They will be scattered and so it's on the front offices to identify the right talent.

That is one of the worst comps! KMart was one of the best free throw merchants in the last 25 years. He would have stunk otherwise.

Tre is not defensively inept and can score from anywhere. He just can't draw FTs.

Just the way they score their baskets is what reminded me of KMart.

And he doesn't rebound.

We need a top 2 pick. No disrespect to Scottie, who's awesome, but we need a better best player.

Man... if we draft Johnson... how are we going to distribute minutes?

Let's say Quickley/Shead are our PGs

SG/SF - Barrett, Ochai, Dick, Walter, Johnson

Feel like we're gonna have to make a trade or two to bolster the front-court.

Specifically Cooper Flagg... Scottie would be a great robin next to Flagg IMO. I wouldn't even mind him being passive and passing up shots in this scenario.

I wouldnt mind Harper either and i do think he has the potential to be an all-nba guard, but ya, Flagg is a 2 way superstar in this league and would immediately change the fortunes of this franchise

It's still a development team and all those guys are young, so you see who separates from the pack and make moves after. But if you have to move someone today, then its obviously RJ. You might believe he has hidden potential but he's also been in the league long enough to make a decent assessment of who he is

I thought Quickley is closer to SG than Barrett closer to PG. We shall probably see how well the rookie performance before deciding, otherwise having another Dick player may not make us better on defense

I'd be happy with any of Flagg/Harper/Jakucionis. Coming away with any of those 3 is a good tank.
