Stop being delusional. I'm a Lebron hater but the east belongs to Lebron until someone proves otherwise. A starting lineup of Lowry, Ross, DeMar, Bosh & JV with a bench of Lou, Vasquez, JJ, Patterson & Amir makes us the best team in the east.

I think at the very least Raps fans should see how the Raptors matchup with the Cavs this season. 3 upcoming games will tell us a lot. Unlike the Bulls with Butler, Washington with Pierce, Spurs with Kawaii etc, Raptors don't really have a SF with size to guard him. (Yeah we have JJ but then he could hurt us offensively with the lack of shooting)

Playoffs are just so far away. Plenty of time for the Cavs to gel or aquire a Mosgov.

I never had a problem with Rose until he decided not to play against Miami in the 2013 playoffs when he was cleared by doctors and coaches months before.

He could have played which he admitted months later, but he didn't want to lose his MVP status which was more important to him than helping his team win, pathetic.

Also, he had the audacity to say he's still the MVP after the Heat won in 2013. Man chickened out and decided not to play yet still claimed he's MVP. :nonono:

When asked by CNN's Pedro Pinto in an interview who the best player in the NBA is right now, the former MVP did not hesitate with his answer.

"Derrick Rose," the 24-year-old said confidently.

Here's the thing. I'm not worried about the defense on Lebron. Casey was responsible for Lebron's choke job in 2011. He came up with the defense to stop the Heat and Lebron. We have JJ now who can potentially fill the Shawn Marion role for us.

However, I just don't see us beating Lebron in a 7 game series. We don't have a superstar like Dirk or a superstar coach like Carlisle to take us over the top and we're not the Spurs. Someone like Bosh, however, would give us the edge.

wtf does this even mean? i'm not saying the raps are for sure gonna finish 1st, but so far the cavs look like **** and the raptors with their chemistry, experience, talent and depth are looking amazing… in what other way can a team "prove otherwise?" again, i hate how people just think let's plug in some big name player in a spot that we're supposedly "weak" and it will make us better… FIT AND CHEMISTRY AND ROLE DEFINITION ARE WHY THE RAPTORS ARE SO GOOD! YOU DON'T ADD ANOTHER PLAYER THAT KNOCKS EVERYONE ELSE DOWN A PEG FOR A FEW MORE SHOTS, ALL WHILE NOT ADDRESSING THE ACTUAL NEEDS AND WEAKNESSES OF THE TEAM…

lowry, derozan, gay, amir and valanciunas on paper looks like a legitimate contender in the east… i mean, GAY is ideally the SF that everyone has been clamouring for… tall, long, athletic, can defend, can make 3s, can rebound, can create plays, is clutch… and yet somehow we were so **** with him… WHY? because he was redundant and made guys like val, lowry, derozan and ross, USELESS, because his game did not mesh with theirs… and as soon as he left, all of a sudden everything fell into place BECAUSE OF ROLE DEFINITION… on paper, bosh makes us a borderline all-star team… BUT HIS GAME IS NOT WHAT WE NEED! it's not that complicated to understand… horford would be a better fit than bosh, and that's mainly because he's a bigger physical presence and a better rim protector… same with someone like noah… lowry, derozan, ross, horford, val… lowry, derozan, ross, val, noah… lowry, derozan, ross, garnett, val… would all be better for this team than bosh would be…

Bosh is exactly what this team need. Everyone talks about this team needing a 3rd all star to take the next step. Bosh is that all star, not Horford or whoever else you have in mind. As far as chemistry and all that other stuff, I agree but we don't have a good enough team to beat Lebron in a 7 game series.

If we make the ECF, things will have to fall in place for us. Either Chicago has to suffer a major injury or the Cavs have to implode. We aren't going to beat Chicago or the Cavs in a 7 game series if they're healthy.

I think Blatt has already lost that locker room, and I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't make it til the end of the season.

If you look at the Cavs players you'll kind of notice that there are divisions among the team. Certain guys only communicate with certain other players, and Lebron looks like he's on his own right now.

It's not propaganda homie. I'm a realist. We're an ECF contender as currently constructed and that's IF things go right for us like it did for the Grizzlies.

Lebron isn't good enough to beat the Spurs or Mavs but he's good enough to beat us on his own in a 7 game series. That's reality. Cavs will get better as the season goes on. Their struggles aren't a surprise. Now, they are no where near what Miami & the Big 3 were but they'll sort it out.

anyone watching chicago vs portland right now? interesting fact they just stated, but the bulls, blazers, warriors and RAPTORS are the only teams in the league that are top 10 both offense and defense right now…

Man Flip Saunders kinda messed up that Love trade.

Not completely but he should have kept that Heat pick. Top 10 protected this year and next. Unprotected 2017.

He had a great opportunity to rebuild his club. They are kind of being forced to tank right now with there injuries which is probably going to be best long term.

They never had a chance at the playoffs in the crazy tough West so a one year Thad Young rental never made sense.

He's got it all, just a classic example of a player who needs to put it all together. His passing is underrated by the way. In a couple years I think his passing will be an impressive, sometimes dazzling, part of his game.
