Especially if we got Ayton, I like that "remix" more lol we shouldn't be prone to completely bottom out after this season or subject to a long painful rebuild. But imo that potential new core has a higher ceiling than the existing one AND if Pascal as unwilling to take the super max dollars to give it a chance to develop, well load up even more on the next trade but I think that's a reasonable young core.

But I think OG should be used to bring a young player with greater upside than himself which Pels' assets allow. Not to try & squeeze in one of Cam or Ayton. IMO they win the trade you're suggesting, I think when healthy the guys we'd be giving up impact winning more. So I'm not sure those picks off set much as presumably Fred + OG will solidify PHX as a Playoff team again so that pick is mid-lotto which is the only one you're really gonna "feel" as a fan because during the life of the deal, if you're comparing how those guys are impacting each team, I think it's gonna be a bit of a notch below. I think either PHX package for Fred (Cam + PHX 23' + filler or Ayton) will have a similar effect overall (Ayton being a bit greater but it would cost us more, for me Boucher isn't a big deal) and Dyson or Murphy + protected LAL, gives us a shot or two to bring in another much needed talent boost to actually raise the ceiling higher.
