The slow fadeout is a familiar story for Raptors fans – jilted again – and a Splitsville for the IM age. We’ve all been there, right? The standard gamut of maybes, evasions, avoided eye contact, missed calls and mixed messages are all in evidence, along with damning notes – via Twitter, for heaven’s sake. And Bosh caught red-handed in someone else’s courtside seats. On national TV. With a visit to Kobe Bryant and the Lakers dressing room afterward.

I went into the NY Islanders dressing rooms after a playoff game during the 80's against the Leafs.
It didn't mean I suited up for them the next season.
(I had a relative who played for the Isles, to those wondering)
