That actually makes an iota of sense. Vince has one less year on the books and would be a better complement to Wall. Gil would fill Orlandos need for a dominant backcourt scorer. You know, like the one they tried to acquire in VC...

So the Magic thought it too expensive to pay for Hedo, but will taken on Arenas? He'll destroy that team from the inside out. Good for the rest of the Eastern Conference, though. So I'm not complaining.

I wouldn't do this trade if I was Orlando even if the Wizards throw in John Wall. Arenas is complete deadweight.

Wow! I thought Gilbert had the worst contract in the league. This would be interesting. I don't understand how Nelson went from being overrated to underrated so quickly.

Personally, I'd love to see a true PG on that team like Paul, Nash, Williams etc tossing alley-oops to Howard.

Is Gil even back yet? He looks pretty mediocre this past season. He might be done. Not sure this makes sense until Orlando can figure out how effective he will be on the court..

The contracts are awful but that would only make ORL that much more explosive offensively.

Not sure I like it though because I don't think it takes them over the top and then they are in cap hell.

I guess it gives Orlando the firepower they're looking for... but for some reason I don't see this ending well for them. Great move for Washington though.
