The interesting comment is that BC is hesitant to take back more salary. And I think this means short term salary as we have pretty long contracts to unload.

So what is the problem with paying more for a year or two and saving money long term? This tells me being a tax team is off the table since Bosh is gone.

and we won't be picking up a stud player because those teams would only be moving them to dump salary.

I am starting to expect BC to get shut out of the deals today or end up getting fleeced in a desperation move. He still has no plan and is just shopping everywhere but not committing to any deals. Other teams have clear agendas and can make a deal quickly once they find a taker.

I would take Anthony over everyone in this draft minus the consensus 4. If bc can get him that will be good. Just gonna need a better coach to motivate him.

Anthony Randolph has as much talent as anyone in the potential top 4 in Wall, Turner, Favors and Cousins. He's only 20 yrs old and is just tipping the iceberg on how good he can really be.

This is exactly why I hate the offseason. Everyone has their "friend" who works at MLSE. And then they begin spouting off rumors we've already heard, yay! I get that everyone wants attention, and they want to act like they are in the know, but seriously enough.

Youd think that we are the worst franchise seeing as how everyone in MLSE is told about every offer and deal they have on the table. I really really hate the offseason speculation because 99% is trash, and .5% is legit, and the other .5% is people throwing garbage out there and it happened to stick.

now, i don't know how much of this is true, but i hate when players talk about "bringing in a difference maker asap" as leverage to signing with the team. obviously, they want to win, but they make it seem like it's so bloody easy. it's incredibly short sighted as well, because there's things like contracts, whether or not the player even wants to play here and the ability to bring in other complimentary players to fill out the roster.

Randolph has Odom potential. We could very well use him at the 3 and make a huge front-line like the Lakers (if a deal did go down )
