ESPN Radio: Bosh in negotiations with Rockets

SAS just reported that Bosh is not willing to take anything less than the Max, and said Bosh is working with Houston for a SnT.
Take this with a grain of salt fellas. Other sources have confirmed that Bosh is looking for nothing less than the Max, but Houston was not mentioned in the others.

If Bosh goes to Houston i don't think a TPE is even possible. Aren't they over the cap?

TPE would not be possible with the Rockets.

Does Stephen A, Smith still work for ESPN? In any case, Houston just has to say yes to Bosh Re the max. Nothing to negotiate. A sign and trade is between the two teams.

they are not over - but they must trade some players & a TPE
The TPE would not be as large as if you traded with Miami, Knicks or Bulls

Brooks or Bust from Houston imo.

This would be great news, despite losing the massive TPE. BC has plenty of leverage with the Rockets - they must offer something that the raps want or else there is no trade to made. Bosh can only go to Houston if Toronto agrees to a deal...

This has been mentioned many, many times by several media types following all the free agent happenings.
So, yes, anyone can pretty much treat this as fact.

IMO, from the looks of it, RuPaul is too proud to come back and re-sign for max with the Raps.

Doubt that the Rockets can actually put a better team around him than we can.

I'd take NY picks + Lowry + Battier + salary fillers. Battier would be a nice veteran presence who we could trade at the deadline.

Brooks is off limits. They are very high on him. I think best scenario is
Battier + Jeffries + (Hill or Picks)
Hopefully BC than is able to turn expirings of Battier/Jeffries/Evans/Banks into very good player.

I really hope this is true, they have some great assets and it will send bosh to the west.

SAS basically said that Bosh/Wade/LeBron won't happen in Miami because Bosh is being greedy and wants the MAX.

No way we would be this lucky!! Not gonna happen, SAS is such an ahole!
If true though, apparently Houston is offering Scola, Battier, Ariza. That makes Hedo expendable. Hopefully we can get rid of Hedo/Jose/Expirings and get an upgrade at PG or use the MLE to do it.

Please say no to Brooks. The guy is basically a faster and shorter Mike James......

I see Colangelo taking Scola.

Not crazy about Brooks either, but at least he's on a short/cheap contract, and there may be other teams interested in him.

SAS is on Fox Sports, not ESPN.
That said, this afternoon on ESPN radio, Chris Broussard reported that negotiations between the Houston Rockets and Bosh's people have heated up.

I really want nothing to do with Houston's GM. He is a mastermind when it comes to building a franchise. I mean look what he got from Tracy McGrady's corpse! BC can only get fleeced. I suspect a fleecing above all fleecing if these two negotiate.
However, they do have alot of nice assets. If I had it my way I would love the following deal to go down. This would greatly help us rebuild our team properly with prospects and picks.
S&T Bosh
For
Jeffries,Battier(Bought out and he returns to Houston)+Hill+Budinger+2 Knicks picks
This trade would take absolutely nothing away from the Houston core. I think Bosh could care less about his rookie backup and Birdinger. Those Knick picks are hit and miss. Could be good, could be garbage.
Other assets I would be interested in are Patterson's right and Kyle Lowry.
