Except us...
Bigger contract with a C, who can't run and is overrated, because he plays behind the best C in the East. Gortat does NOT fit this team, going forward with the Young Gunz

Possible? Maybe. But not with just for Calderon.
I see the point that Granger will be 28 where they could be starting from scratch with a younger team of Hibbert, Hansbrough, and George. But for Calderon. I doubt it. Possibly if TO included Davis, and a pick I could see it. Or maybe DeRozen for their young core. But I do not see Calderon doing it.
Quite frankly, if they were going to move Granger, I would move him to NOH for Collison, Wright, filler. That is a better package than just Calderon.

Extremely athletic Center, that runs the floor real well who averages 9rbs in 28 minutes, block shots, with a good touch and born in 84.
Would allow Bargs move to 4.
Still thinks Gortat does NOT fit??
P.S.Dahntay is just for salary cap purposes. (doesnt fit in Indiana, can be traded later as he was the defensive stopper for a highly competitive Denver team 2 years ago)

Now that Beaubois will be out for 3+ months with a broken foot, do you think the Mavs will be willing to do this trade?
To Dallas:
Jose Calderon
David Andersen
Dwayne Jones
Miami 1st round pick
To Toronto:
Tyson Chandler
Dallas is running out of time and need to surround Dirk with the right players to make a run for the title. Even if they have to overpay. They can't afford to wait for Beaubois to heal or they might find themselves in a hole early on.
Mavs can waive one of Andersen or Jones, depending on who they like better.
Toronto gets the center they wanted and clear some roster spots. Most of all they get rid of Calderon's contract while really only giving up a draft pick.
Raps can then find a home for Reggie Evans or waive him, sign Bobby Brown and Ronald Dupree and the roster is set.
C- Chandler/A.Johnson/Alabi
PF- Bargnani/E.Davis/Dorsey
SF- Kleiza/Weems/Dupree
SG- Derozan/Barbosa/Belinelli
PG- Jack/B.Brown/Banks

Extremly athletic? seriously?
Do more "Youtube" Scouting.
The Magic brass has often said that he's more athletic than D12/Superman himself . (They get to see him practice everyday)

Toronto Gets Gortat
Trades Jack and Beli
Indy Gets Jack Beli Bass
Trades Murphy
Orl Gets Murphy
Trades Bass and Gortat
We get legitimate C who can be at least top 15 in NBA if not top 10
Orlando gets legitimate PF lets Lewis play SF plus Orl doesn't like Bass
Indiana get decent PG and Beli who is redundant. Bass can always be traded to Dallas who likes him

To Toronto: Monroe + Hamilton + Chris Wilcox
To Detroit: Jose + Ed Davis + Miami pick + Dorsey
Detroit saves money on this deal immediately and long term by exchanging Calderons 3 year contract (and fills a position of need) for Hamiltons 3 year deal, along with taking Wilcox for a year. In return, we make a swap for lottery picks this year and give them the Heat pick. Dorsey is there so we don't have too many extra bodies and can be waived by Detriot. I think in total we take on 5-6 mill extra salary, so we are still under the tax.

Still agree with seraphim who appears to be born in 82.

Cha/Tor
Not that BC is dying to deal with them again, but here is a deal where TO does not take back any salary (really):
Cha trade Dampier (waived) for Jose, Joey Dorsey (cut), D Jones (cut).
Works in the 125% rule (need to wait until Sept 14 for D Jones 60 days to expire).
Cha gets a PG, should get under the luxury tax
Tor gets out of Jose deal, clears cap space and a few roster spots.
Cha does take on long term salary, but MJ owes BC
